Extra Days Worked. Teachers who work more than their normally scheduled number of days shall be paid at a daily rate to be computed by dividing the annual salary (which includes the base salary and the Master’s and Ph.D. stipend) effective July 1, 2002 by the number of working days.

Extra Days Worked. Teachers requested to work prior to or after the normal school year in the capacity of their regular teaching assignment will be compensated at their per diem rate. Teachers who are requested to work prior to or after the normal school year in areas of workshop or in-service activities will be compensated at one-half (½) the BA step 1 per diem rate for each day.

  • Holidays Worked When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.

  • Hours Worked For the purpose of computing the number of hours worked, all time during which an employee is in paid status shall be construed as hours worked.

  • Hours For the purposes of an unpaid 7.5-hour shift, the deduction from pay shall equate to 9.375 hours.

  • Shift Work Shift work is work not in excess of ordinary hours (ie 38 hours per week), but carried out wholly or partly between the hours of 7.00pm and 7.00am, Monday to Friday. Shift work is work scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the shift. Employees required to work shift work will be paid at time and one quarter of the ordinary rate per hour for ordinary hours worked.
