Extra Service Pay. (a) A Faculty Member employed on an academic year basis who is assigned to perform instructional services on days not otherwise required as part of the contract of service with the District shall be compensated at the appropriate hourly rate set forth in Appendix D-3. (b) Counselors, Librarians, Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Faculty Coordinators and Clinical Psychologists assigned to perform professional counseling, library, nursing, or faculty coordinating services on days not otherwise required as part of the contract of service with the District shall be compensated at a daily rate of 1/175th or 1/222nd of the Faculty Member's yearly salary, whichever is applicable.

Extra Service Pay. Extra service pay normally represents overload compensation, subject to institutional compensation policies for services above and beyond IBS. (Section 200.430 (h)(4) Federal rules and regulations, including Uniform Guidance and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Grants Policy Statement, do not allow for an individual’s institutional base salary to be increased as a result of obtaining grant funding. These federal rules and regulations also restrict the payment of overload, bonus, or other payments outside the individual’s institutional base salary. Research, public service, and instruction are all considered part of a faculty member's regular duties. Further, faculty and exempt staff employees are salaried employees and not subject to the Fair Labor Standards Act; therefore, exempt employees are expected to work as many hours as necessary to accomplish their job functions. This means that requests for supplemental compensation should be rare. Refer to Tech’s general policy regarding supplemental pay. a. Criteria for Charging Administrative Expenses Directly to a Sponsored Project (1) Administrative or clerical services are integral to a project or activity; (2) Individuals involved can be specifically identified with the project or activity; (3) Such costs are explicitly included in the budget or have the prior written approval of the Federal awarding agency; and (4) The costs are not also recovered as indirect costs.
Extra Service Pay. 1. The Extra Service Pay Schedule is attached as Appendix B. 2. Extra Service Pay shall be compensated on the following schedule outside of the regular pay cycle: (a) District – Extra Service Pay positions will be compensated once per year, prior to the end of the school year in which the service was performed. (b) Elementary School – Extra Service Pay positions will be compensated once per year, prior to the end of the school year in which the service was performed. (c) Middle School – Extra Service Pay positions with stipends of less than $1000 per year will be compensated once per year, prior to the end of the school year in which the service was performed. Extra Service Pay positions with stipends of $1000 or more will be compensated twice per year in two substantially equal installments, once at the end of November and once prior to the end of the school year in which the service was performed. (d) High School Academic and Extracurricular (except as described in (e) below) – Extra Service Pay positions will be compensated three times per year in three substantially equal installments, once by the end of November, once by the end of March, and once prior to the end of the school year in which the service was performed. (e) High School Athletic Director and Related Coaches (including all official Sports Teams, Cheer/Song/Mascot, Dance, Music, Band, Auxiliary Group, Color Guard) – Extra Service Pay positions will be compensated three times per year in three substantially equal installments, once by the end of November, once by the end of March, and once prior to the end of the school year in which the service was performed. CIF stipends will be paid prior to the end of the school year in which the CIF service was performed. (f) Saturday School and Summer School positions – The hourly Extra Service Pay rate for these duties shall be included in regular monthly compensation.

  • Service Pay ‌ All regular employees shall be granted service pay in the amount of ten cents (10c/ ) per calendar day for each five (5) years of continuous service completed. After the first five (5) years of service, ten cents (10c/ ); after five (5) further years of service, an additional ten cents (10c/ ); and a like increase for each additional five (5) years of service completed.

  • In-Service Programs The parties to this collective agreement recognize the value of in-service education both to the employee and the Employer. A) The Employer reserves the right to identify specific in-service programs deemed compulsory. B) Employees required to attend such programs will be paid at the applicable rate of pay.

  • EPP service availability Refers to the ability of the TLD EPP servers as a group, to respond to commands from the Registry accredited Registrars, who already have credentials to the servers. The response shall include appropriate data from the Registry System. An EPP command with “EPP command RTT” 5 times higher than the corresponding SLR will be considered as unanswered. If 51% or more of the EPP testing probes see the EPP service as unavailable during a given time, the EPP service will be considered unavailable.

  • Service Period The Service Period of this Agreement is for 1 year in respect of the unit and starts on the Start Date as defined in the Terms and Conditions, or, in the case of an extension of renewal of the provision of Support Services, starts on the date of payment of the Charges.

  • The Service Provider upon receipt of a notice contemplated under clause 19.1 shall discontinue the supply of all services or goods under this Agreement, to the extent specified, and on the date specified in the notice.

  • Developer Compensation for Emergency Services If, during an Emergency State, the Developer provides services at the request or direction of the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer will be compensated for such services in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.

  • Jury Service Program This Contract is subject to the provisions of the County’s ordinance entitled Contractor Employee Jury Service (“Jury Service Program”) as codified in Sections 2.203.010 through 2.203.090 of the Los Angeles County Code, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit H and incorporated by reference into and made a part of this Contract.
