Federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993. Employees who qualify shall be entitled to a leave of absence under the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA). Such leave shall not limit or lessen the leave provisions of this Agreement. To the extent that provisions of the FMLA are covered by paid leave provisions of this Agreement, the twelve (12) weeks of leave and benefit coverage to which an employee is entitled under the FMLA shall run concurrently with existing paid leave benefits.

Federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993. 22.1 Unpaid leaves of absence shall be granted to eligible Employees under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Subject to the provisions of the FMLA, at the Employee's option, all leave and benefit provisions of this agreement or under State law may be used prior to the implementation of the leave and benefit provisions of the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993. FMLA leave and benefits will be applied if the contractual leave and benefits provide is less than the FMLA. In contrast to other unpaid leaves of absence, as required by the FMLA, the School shall continue to provide health insurance coverage to Employees absent on FMLA leave, provided that they continue to pay their portion of the insurance premiums in conformity with Department of Labor regulations.
Federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993. Consistent with the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, the District shall provide those benefits required to be provided by said statute. Employees shall be entitled to continuation of group health insurance under the same relative percentages with regard to payment as if the employee was working, for a maximum period of twelve weeks per year, as required by said statute.

  • Family and Medical Leave Act All employees who worked for the Employer for a minimum of twelve (12) months and worked at least 1250 hours during the past twelve (12) months are eligible for unpaid leave as set forth in the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993.
