Federally Funded Work Sample Clauses

Federally Funded Work. This provision will apply when federally funded or potentially federally funded work is needed by the County. In accordance with Federal Executive Orders 12549 and 12689 (Debarment and Suspension), individuals or entities that have been debarred by the Federal government may not receive work under this Contract as a Contractor or Subcontractor. Contractors and/or Subcontractors listed on the governmental exclusions in the System for Award Management (XXX) are not eligible to receive federally funded work under this contract. See Office of Management and Budget Guidelines at 2 CFR 180 that implement Executive Orders 12549 (3 CFR part 1986 Comp., p. 189) and 12689 (3 CFR part 1989 Comp., p. 235), "Debarment and Suspension”. The XXX exclusions contains the names of parties debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded by Federal agencies as well as parties declared ineligible under statutory or regulatory authority. For federally funded work, the CM will, before assigning work to the Contractor, verify that the Contractor is not listed on the governmental exclusions in the XXX as a party excluded or ineligible by Federal agencies to participate in federally funded projects. For your reference, a List of Debarred Contractors by U.S. Department of Labor's (DOL) Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) may be obtained by going to the following website: xxxxx://xxx.xxx/content/home. If the Contractor is listed on the governmental exclusions in the XXX as a party excluded or ineligible by Federal agencies to participate in federally funded projects, HOA.103989876.2 -A.10- PUBLIC EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT then said Contractor will not be offered the work. The CM will notify the Contractor of their negative standing in the XXX. The CM will also notify the Contractor of their ineligibility to receive any federally funded work under this contract, until the Contractor is able to satisfactorily correct the issue. The Contractor shall notify the CM when the Contractor has corrected their negative standing in the XXX, and the Contractor is no longer listed on the governmental exclusions in the XXX. If the Contractor is not listed on the governmental exclusions in the XXX as a party excluded or ineligible by Federal agencies to participate in federally funded projects, Public Works may offer said Contractor the federally funded work.   • FEDERALLY FUNDED This part is applicable if the recipient is a State or local government or a non-profit organization as defined in 2 CFR §200.330

  • County Contribution The EMPLOYER shall make the following annual contributions to an eligible employee’s HCSP account beginning in 2009. The EMPLOYER’S annual lump sum contribution shall be made the second paycheck in February of each year in the amount determined by the service threshold as of December 31 of the same calendar year.

  • Rehabilitation Program The company agrees to the implementation of an agreed worker’s compensation rehabilitation policy. The operation of this policy shall be reviewed on a regular basis. The parties commit to ensuring that the rehabilitation of injured workers is an accepted practice, and that suitable duties are provided when available. No employee will be terminated whilst on workers compensation during the first 12 months without prior consultation with the union. The parties agree that the person responsible for the management of rehabilitation cases must be adequately trained to do the job. If such a person is not available within the company, then the services of an agreed building industry rehabilitation coordination service will be used. The parties to this Agreement shall ensure that any employee who sustains a work related injury, illness or disease, will be afforded every assistance in utilising a rehabilitation program aimed at returning that employee to meaningful employment within the industry.

  • District Contribution Effective January 1, 2019:

  • HUMANITY FUND 44.00 The Company agrees to deduct on a weekly basis the amount of $0.01 per hour from the wages of all Employees in the bargaining unit for all hours worked and, prior to the 15th day of the month following, to pay the amount so deducted to the “Humanity Fund” and to forward such payment to United Steel Workers of America National Office, 000 Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx X0X0X0, and to advise in writing both the Humanity Fund at the aforementioned address and the local union that such payment has been made, the amount of such payment and the names of all Employees in the bargaining unit on whose behalf such payment has been made. All deductions are voluntary and may be canceled upon request.

  • Health Spending Account contributions by the Executive will cease on the Effective Date. The Executive may submit claims against the balance accrued to the Effective Date, until the end of the calendar year in which the Effective Date occurs.
