Flexible Duct. 1. Provide factory fabricated insulated low-pressure flexible duct with the following attributes: i. Zinc-coated spring steel helix with 1” thick fiberglass insulation, sheathed in a seamless vapor barrier jacket; ii. Interior shall be lined with a fire-resistant coat to prevent fiber erosion; iii. Straight run sound absorption of 3 decibel (db) per ft. and 5 db per ft. sound absorption at 45 degree bends; and iv. Composite assembly, including insulation and vapor barrier, meeting Class 1 requirements of flame spread of 25 or less and smoke developed of 50 or less as set forth in NFPA Bulletin 90-A, and bearing UL label as an air duct 2. Provide flexible duct in fully extended condition, which shall be free from sags and kinks and the following requirements: i. Use only the minimum length required to make the connection. ii. Do not exceed 4’-0” in length. iii. Provide at least ¾” wide banding material hangers at not more than 36” centers where horizontal support is required. iv. Make joints and connections with ½” wide positive locking steel straps. 3. Acceptable products: i. Insulated low-pressure flexible duct “Type S-181” manufactured by Glass Insulation Co. located in Los Angeles, California or an equivalent. ii. For toilet exhaust or return air connectors and runouts, aluminum flexible ducts such as “Flexmaster” or “Vanguard” or an equivalent may be used, if acceptable to the governmental agencies having jurisdiction.

Flexible Duct. Supply & Return Air (Insulated, Low Pressure): Duct to be a factory fabricated assembly with a laminated inner liner of aluminum foil, fiberglass and polyester, a galvanized steel helix coil formed to the inner liner, a fiberglass insulation blanket, and a polyethylene outer jacket. Flexible duct shall be rated for 6.0” w.g. positive pressure, 4.0” w.g. negative pressure thru 16” diameter, 4000 FPM velocity, -20 to 250 deg. F operating temperature, 0.1 perm rating, and have a maximum thermal conductance of 0.23 BTUH/Hr-Deg F. Flexible duct shall have a flame resistant rating of 25 or less and a smoke developed rating of 50 or less. Flexible duct shall be tested in accordance with UL 181 and listed and labeled as Class 0 or Class 1. Flexmaster Type 5 or equal.

  • Flexible Spending Accounts Employees in the unit shall have access to the County’s flexible spending account program, which provides employees with the options of dependent care assistance benefits with a calendar year maximum of $5,000, and medical expense reimbursement benefits with a calendar year maximum of $2,400. The County shall maintain this plan in compliance with IRC §125. Employee premiums for flexible spending account benefits shall be deducted on a pre-tax basis from employee pay.

  • Flexible Spending The Board shall make flexible spending accounts available to employees in the bargaining unit.

  • Flexible Hours Upon the request of an employee and the concurrence of the Employer, an employee may work flexible hours on a daily basis so long as the daily hours amount to seven decimal five (7.5).

  • Flexible Working Arrangement (a) The Parties recognise the importance of flexible working arrangements and the right of Employees to make requests under section 65 of the Fair Work Act for flexible working arrangements. An Employee may request a flexible working arrangement if any of the following circumstances apply to the Employee: (i) the Employee is pregnant; (ii) the Employee is the parent, or has responsibility for the care, of a child who is of school age or younger; (iii) the Employee is a carer (within the meaning of the Carer Recognition Act 2010); (iv) the Employee has a disability; (v) the Employee is 55 or older; (vi) the Employee is experiencing violence from a member of the Employee’s family; (vii) the Employee provides care or support to a member of the Employee’s immediate family, or a member of the Employee’s household, who requires care or support because the member is experiencing violence from the member’s family.
