Health Care Spending Account definition

Health Care Spending Account means the Health Care Spending Account under the El Paso Children’s Hospital Section 125 Cafeteria Plan, or any subsequent cafeteria plan maintained by the Employer.
Health Care Spending Account means the Health Care Spending Account under the University Medical Center of El Paso Section 125 Cafeteria Plan, or any subsequent cafeteria plan maintained by the Employer.
Health Care Spending Account means the Health Care Spending Account established pursuant to Section 5.2.

Examples of Health Care Spending Account in a sentence

  • After six (6) months of permanent employment, full time and part time (20/40 or greater) employees may elect to participate in a Health Care Spending Account (HCSA) Program designed to qualify for tax savings under Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code, but such savings are not guaranteed.

  • A Health Care Spending Account (HCSA) option will be provided to employees eligible for benefits.

  • Amounts contributed to the Dependent Care Account or Health Care Spending Account are optional with teachers choosing to contribute any amount within the plan limits.

  • Total teacher contributions to the Dependent Care Account and/or Health Care Spending Account will all be prorated on a per-pay basis.

More Definitions of Health Care Spending Account

Health Care Spending Account means the Flexible Spending Account established and maintained by Employer under Section 5.1 to record the allocation of a Participant’s Compensation Reductions for the reimbursement of Qualifying Health Care Expenses.
Health Care Spending Account or “HCSA” means the Component Plan as described in Article VVII.
Health Care Spending Account means the Account established and maintained for a Participant to record the contribution that the Participant has elected to make to such Account and the reimbursements made to such Participant for eligible Medical Care Expenses. Section 2.02 Administrator means the Health and Welfare Administrative Committee, other entity or individual designated from time to time by the University to supervise the administration of the Plan in accordance with Article XII. The Administrator will be the “named fiduciary” of the Plan, within the meaning of ERISA Section 402(a). Section 2.03 Affiliate means any corporation or other business entity which is (i) a member of a controlled group of corporations (within the meaning of Section 414(b) of the Code) of which the University is also a member; (ii) a trade or business under common control with the University, within the meaning of Section 414(c) of the Code; (iii) a member of an affiliated service group (within the meaning of Section 414(m) of the Code) of which the University is also a member; or (iv) required to be aggregated with the University pursuant to regulations issued under Section 414(o) of the Code. Section 2.04 Affordable Care Act means the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, as amended by the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, as such amends the applicable provisions of the Code, ERISA, and the PHS Act, and the applicable regulations promulgated from time to time pursuant thereto. Section 2.05 Benefit Program means a separate welfare plan program which is sponsored by an Employer and which forms part of the Plan. A Benefit Program will also include the Cafeteria Program, the terms and conditions of which are specified herein. A Benefit Program may be governed in whole or in part by a collective bargaining agreement to the extent such agreement provides for welfare benefits covered by a Benefit Program. The Administrator will maintain records as to the particular Benefit Programs from time to time forming part of the Plan and which are listed on Appendix A or identified in a summary plan description.Section 2.06 Cafeteria Program means the Benefits Program set forth herein which permits eligible Employees to choose between certain benefits provided by the Employer, including contributions to a health savings account as defined under Section 223 of the Code, or additional cash compensation, as described in Article IV.   • Health care system means any public or private entity whose function or purpose is the management of, processing of, enrollment of individuals for or payment for, in full or in part, health care services or health care data or health care information for its participants;

  • Nursing Care Plan means a plan of care developed by a nurse that describes the medical, nursing, psychosocial, and other needs of a child and how those needs shall be met. The Nursing Care Plan includes which tasks shall be taught, assigned, or delegated to the qualified provider or family.

  • Health care corporation means a health care corporation incorporated under the nonprofit health care corporation reform act, 1980 PA 350, MCL 550.1101 to 550.1704.

  • Seller Account shall have the meaning set forth in the preamble of this Agreement.
