Flexible Professional Sample Clauses

Flexible Professional. Development Day(s) (Flex Days): Professional Development time that is not defined by the District Calendar. Their use will be determined by the negotiation teams based upon recommendations of the Professional Development Joint Task Force. A “day” shall be deemed to be 6.5 hours of work. Any pre-approved activity may be used for the Flexible Professional Development Day so long as it occurs outside the regular work day.

Flexible Professional. Development time may include PLC meetings after school, meetings on designated inclement weather days, or meeting during days not scheduled in the school calendar, or other approved professional development opportunities which relate to school improvement or student achievement. All flexible professional development days are voluntary for staff. Flex In-Service days will be used whenever possible for the scheduling of professional development outside of the set school calendar.

  • Design Professional The architect or engineer or architectural or engineering firm selected by Owner (i) for the design and preparation of Contract Documents governing the construction of a Project, or (ii) for construction contract administration under the Contract Documents, or (iii) for both, all such services and the scope thereof to be set forth in the Design Professional Contract. The Design Professional is not an employee of the Owner but is engaged or retained by it for the purpose of performing design and construction administration services for the project. The term “Design Professional” includes architects, engineers, surveyors, designers, and other consultants retained by the Design Professional.

  • Flexible Type 1: full-time active employment for 9, 10 or 11 months per year with a prescheduled unpaid leave of absence with benefits ("flex-leave") during the remaining months. Type 2: 75-89% scheduled time active employment over the entire calendar year (30-35 hours per week) with part-time equivalent salary.

  • Teacher Professional Growth Plan 9.1.1 Teacher Professional Growth Plans will consider but will not be required to include the School Division’s goals.

  • Contract for Professional Services of Physicians Optometrists, and Registered Nurses In accordance with Senate Bill 799, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., if Texas Government Code, Section 2254.008(a)(2) is applicable to this Contract, Contractor affirms that it possesses the necessary occupational licenses and experience.

  • Paraprofessionals Paraprofessionals employed by the School shall meet all credentialing requirements imposed by applicable federal and state law, rules and regulations (unless waived).

  • Professional Dues The school district will pay the annual dues for the Superintendent’s membership in the American Association of School Administrators, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and Nebraska Council of School Administrators. The Superintendent’s membership in other professional organizations will be considered annually and may be approved at the discretion of the school board.

  • Training and Professional Development C. Maintain written program procedures covering these six (6) core activities. All procedures shall be consistent with the requirements of this Contract.
