Formal - Stage III. The employee shall present the grievance to the Board ofEducation by filing with the Clerk ofthe Board a written statement ofinitiation ofStage III to which shall be attached the statement of grievance presented at Stage II. The Board of Education shall within seven school days after receipt of the statement initiating Stage III convene a formal hearing at which time evidence may be presented to the Board or a member or members ofthe Board designated hearing officer. A written decision will be rendered within seven school days after the aforementioned hearing. Ifthe grievance is not resolved at Stage III, the Association may within 10 school days after receipt ofthe decision ofStage Ill, initiate Stage IV.

  • Formal Stage Step One At the conclusion of the informal process, or if no resolution has been reached, a formal grievance, with a copy to the Principal/Supervisor, shall be submitted to the Superintendent of Human Resources within ten (10) working days. A formal grievance must:
