Guild representative Release Time. A Guild representative who is processing a grievance in accordance with the grievance procedure of this Agreement shall be permitted reasonable time to assist in the resolution of legitimate employee grievances on the University’s property without loss of pay or recorded work time. Time off for processing grievances shall be granted to a Guild representative by management following a request, but in consideration of job responsibilities. If permission for time off is not granted, the supervisor shall arrange for time off at the earliest possible time thereafter.

  • Retirement Seminar Release Time 236. Subject to development, availability and scheduling by SFERS and PERS, employees shall be allowed not more than one day during the life of this CBA to attend a pre-retirement planning seminar sponsored by SFERS or PERS. All such seminars must be located within the Bay Area.

  • Designation of Representative The Director of Public Works or the Director’s authorized representative is hereby designated as the City’s representative with respect to the work to be performed under this Agreement. Said representative shall have complete authority to transmit instructions, receive information, and interpret and define the City’s policies and decisions with respect to the services of the Consultant.
