  • Basic Salaries The basic salaries of employees covered by this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A which is attached to, and incorporated in this Agreement. These salaries shall remain in effect from July 1 through June 30.

  • SALARIES wages and other similar remuneration, other than a pension, paid by a Contracting State or a political subdivision or a local authority thereof to an individual in respect of services rendered to that State or subdivision or authority shall be taxable only in that State.

  • Minimum Salaries 12.1 The minimum base salary for all Bargaining Unit members shall be as follows: Rank Effective 9/1/2016 Professor $77,510 Assoc. Professor $62,520 Asst. Librarian $43,835 Faculty Members earning a base salary below the effective minima shall move to the new minima and receive any across-the-board and compression increase under Article 10 on his or her minima. Faculty Members who will receive regional campus increases under Article 10 of this Agreement shall receive those increases before any adjustment to meet the minimum salary required by this Article.

  • Wages and Salaries The wages and salaries for Unit employees have been negotiated in good faith between the Union and the District and shall be as set forth in Appendix A of this Agreement. The wages and salaries set forth in Appendix A are intended to, and do, meet any prevailing wage obligations which are or may be imposed upon the District.

  • Office Employees The normal work day shall consist of a scheduled period of seven (7) hours of work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The normal work week shall consist of five (5) such days, Monday to Friday inclusive. Any clerical Employee assigned to work in the Public Works Yard Office will have his/her hours of work adjusted to coincide with the finishing time of outside Employees.

  • Travel Compensation The Contractor shall not be compensated or reimbursed for travel time, travel expenses, meals, or lodging.

  • DISCIPLINE OF EMPLOYEES Section 1. Any action or behavior which reflects discredit upon the City or is a direct hindrance to the effective performance of the City's municipal governmental and proprietary functions may be considered good cause for disciplinary action against an employee and such actions or behavior which may be considered good cause for disciplinary action shall include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Sick Leave Donations Employees in the Unit as well as officers above the rank of sergeant and other non-bargaining unit employees in the Police Department may donate sick leave for the purpose of providing authorized sick leave to any Unit member who has exhausted all accrued annual, compensatory and sick leave. Sick leave means leave earned under Section A. of this Article. The procedures governing donation of sick leave followed in implementing the Sick Leave Donor Program established by the predecessor Agreement between the parties shall remain in effect, except as provided in Section P of this Article. Where the FOP has an established leave donation agreement with another bargaining unit within Xxxxxxxxxx County, the employer agrees to honor the agreement pursuant to the applicable contractual requirements of the bargaining unit and transfer sick leave as requested.   • Transport of Employees When an employee, after having worked overtime or a shift for which he/she has not been regularly rostered, finishes work at a time when reasonable means of transport are not available, the employer shall provide the employee with a conveyance home, or pay him/her their current wage for the time reasonably occupied in reaching home.

  • Job Stewards 10.01 Job Stewards shall be recognized on all jobs and they shall not be discriminated against. It will be his/her duty to attend to all complaints between the workers on the job and the company to endeavor to reach a settlement before these complaints become grievances.
