Historically Underutilized Business (HUB). A. The Contractor shall make a good faith effort to award necessary subcontracts to HUBs in accordance with Texas Government Code, Sections 2161.181-182, 2161.252(b), and Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Title 34, Part 1, Chapter 20, Subchapter D, Division 1, Rule 20.285. Pursuant to the Texas Statewide Support Services Division HUB Rules, TAC, Title 34, Part 1, Chapter 20, Subchapter D, Division 1, Rule 20.285, the Contractor shall submit a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) as part of the proposal submission, as well as make a good faith effort to implement the HSP. The Contractor shall seek written approval from the Department prior to making any modifications to its HSP.

Historically Underutilized Business (HUB). The PERFORMING PARTY will use its best efforts to provide opportunities for HUBs to participate in subcontracting under this Contract. The PERFORMING PARTY must notify the TCEQ of the steps it has taken to provide opportunities for HUBs to participate, and the extent to which HUBs are being utilized as subcontractors under this Contract.

Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) pursuant to Tex. The firm will be required to provide a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) for the intended subcontracting opportunities for this project. Historically Underutilized Business (HUB). Reports – Upon contract award, the MCO must attend a post award meeting, which will be scheduled by the HHSC HUB Program Office, to discuss the development and submission of a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) Progress Assessment Report (PAR) for the inclusion of HUBs. The MCO must maintain its original HSP and submit monthly PAR reports documenting the MCO’s good faith effort to comply with the originally submitted HSP. The report must be in the format included in Uniform Managed Care Manual Chapter 5.4.4.4 for the HUB monthly reports. The MCO must comply with the HUB Program’s HSP and PAR requirements for all Subcontractors.
Historically Underutilized Business (HUB). Contractor will provide pertinent details of any participation by a HUB in fulfilling the duties and obligations arising under this Contract.
