Common use of Holiday Pay Eligibility Clause in Contracts

Holiday Pay Eligibility. Employees shall be paid for their normal shift’s work at regular rates of pay (excluding temporarily changed schedules) on these paid holidays if not called in to work. However, the employee will be paid for the holiday if the employee has performed work during the week in which the holiday occurs. Scheduled vacation, ETO or a previously excused absence will be considered days worked for the purposes of holiday pay.
