Holidays on Scheduled Day Off. Whenever a holiday occurs during a full-time 11 comprehensive leave eligible employee’s regularly scheduled day off, such employee either will 12 receive compensation for the holidays identified in Article 10 of the CLA or management will 13 designate as an alternative holiday either the regularly scheduled workday before or after the holiday.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an employee's vacation period, he/she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and employee.

  • Holiday Coinciding with a Day of Vacation Where an employee is on vacation leave and a day of paid holiday falls within that period, the paid holiday shall not count as a day of vacation.
