Vacation Carry. Over: A maximum of twelve (12) vacation days may be carried over into the next year. Application for the carry over of more than twelve (12) days must be made to the District in writing.
Vacation Carry over -- The employee may submit a request in writing to their supervisor to carry-over no more than five (5) vacation days to the subsequent year. Such a request shall be submitted at least thirty calendar days before the end of the employee’s assigned work year. In no instance shall any such voluntary carryover extend beyond the subsequent work year. (Effective July 1, 2005)
Vacation Carry over An employee may carry over a maximum of 9 eighty (80) hours of accumulated vacation from year to year upon written request to the Chief 10 of Police. Timely written approval from the Chief of Police shall not be unreasonably denied.
Vacation Carry. Over
9.2.1 An administrator with an excess of 50 days (400 hours) of carry-over vacation leave will be paid out for those hours which exceed the 50-day carry-over as provided in Section 9.2. The payout will be made on the July paycheck immediately following the end of that fiscal year.
9.2.2 Any administrator transferring from an administrative position into a position that does not accrue vacation time will, insofar as feasible, take all of their accumulated vacation prior to the time of transfer. The administrator shall be compensated at their daily rate for all vacation remaining at the time of transfer.
Vacation Carry. Over Subject to City policy, an employee may be permitted to carry over vacation to the next vacation year. If a permanent employee is unable to take the vacation to which they are entitled in any vacation year because of sickness and/or accident, they shall carry over their entitlement to the following vacation year or succeeding vacation years. 8.
Vacation Carry. Over Employees shall be entitled to carry over five (5) unused vacation days to the following fiscal year. These days must be used in that fiscal year.
Vacation Carry over
1. When absent on full salary due to work-related compensation injury which prevents his/her reducing his/her credits to the maximum allowable amount, or
2. In the case of inability to take vacation because of extreme emergency such as fire, flood or other similar disaster, an additional accumulation may be approved by the County Executive and the Director of Personnel.
3. For the duration of this contract, the vacation carry-over limit of the three years vacation earnings shall be temporarily increased by 48 hours. The temporary increase to the limit of 48 hours shall expire on June 23, 2013 and revert to the vacation limit in section 11.1 (c).
Vacation Carry. Over (changes effective January 1, 2015) Employees may carry-over up to a maximum of five (5) days vacation entitlement into the next vacation year, without approval. These days must be taken within the subsequent calendar year. Exceptions for carry-over in excess of one half of any one (1) year’s vacation entitlement may be made, with the Executive Director’s approval, if work responsibilities prevent the use of vacation during the normal period. Such approval will not be unreasonably denied. Any days not approved for carryover may be cancelled.
Vacation Carry. Over An employee, with the permission of their Supervisor, may be permitted to carry forward up to one (1) week of annual vacation to the following year.
Vacation Carry over Vacation must be scheduled in the calendar year and vacation carry over shall be permitted in exceptional circumstances only upon approval of the Department Head and/or designate.
