Host Fees. The Company during the term of this Agreement shall pay the County Host Fees and the City Host Fees based on the tonnage of Acceptable Solid Waste disposed of at the Landfill, as more specifically provided in Section 5 hereof. Additionally, the Company shall
Host FeesCompany will pay a host fee to County of $1.00 per ton of waste disposed at the Landfill. The total fee to be paid to County will be based upon the monthly volume of construction and demolition waste disposed in the landfill and must be paid for each month by the 30th day of the following month. Electronic/ACH or check payments shall be an acceptable form of payment. The official volume of waste disposed in the Landfill will be based on Company’s annual report filed with the State of North Carolina. If the annual report filed with the State of North Carolina shows total tonnage exceeding the sum of payments Company has paid County during that time, Company must remit payment to County for the difference in tonnage at the $1.00 per ton rate within thirty (30) days of submitting Company’s report to the State. The host fee rate specifically excludes payment for tons of recycle material collected and separated from construction and demolition debris and materials not disposed within the landfill. Examples of such materials not disposed within the landfill include cover dirt, road aggregate, clean concrete and similar materials used for compliance with regulatory requirements and Landfill maintenance.
Host Fees. On and after the first day of the month following the execution of this Second Amendment throughout the term of the Agreement, the Contractor shall pay the Commission a per ton host fee (the “Host Fee”) for all Solid Waste disposed of at the Landfill in a fixed- percentage amount equal to five and one-half percent (5.5%) of the tipping fees received by Contractor, provided, that the aggregate amount of each monthly payment to the Commission for Host Fees shall not be less than $10,560.00. Host Fees shall be paid to the Commission on or before the 20th day of the following month for which they are due. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Contractor shall not pay a Host Fee for waste disposed of at the Landfill pursuant to the Commission’s Reserved Rights unless specifically provided for by a subsequent written agreement between the Commission and Contractor.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Contractor shall not pay a Host Fee for waste disposed of at the Landfill pursuant to the Commission’s Reserved Rights unless specifically provided for by a subsequent written agreement between the Commission and Contractor. 8. Except as amended herein, all other terms, covenants and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect and are hereby reaffirmed by the parties.
Host Fees. Charges levied on Solid Waste disposed or processed within a jurisdiction by the jurisdiction in which a Solid Waste facility is located. The fees are separate from the disposal and processing costs charged by the receiving facility itself.

Host Fees. HEARTLAND will conduct limited mining of sand and gravel to maximize the amount of CCDD that can be economically placed on the property pursuant to the Land Reclamation, Operations and Implementation Plan phase of the Project. HEARTLAND will pay the VILLAGE a host fee of 2% of the revenue collected from sales of Mined Materials from the Project, 2% of the revenue collected for the acceptance of fill materials delivered to the Property and 2% of the revenue collected for the processing of crushed concrete on the Property, based on the Mined Materials receipt journal, Yard Tickets and other sales documentation it maintains to charge customers for Mined Materials, fill materials and processed concrete that it sells, receives or processes. HEARTLAND will give the VILLAGE an accounting of the total volume of Mined Materials sales received and revenues from accepted fill materials each quarter no later than the 15th day of the next month, and this accounting shall be accompanied by payment of the Host Fee calculated in accordance with this paragraph. The VILLAGE may audit these accountings not more frequently than annually. HEARTLAND will provide access to the VILLAGE to its Yard Tickets and it receipts journal for sales of Mined Materials and fees for acceptance of fill materials, and such other documents as the VILLAGE reasonably requires to conduct its accounting.
