Common use of HOURS OF WORK Ordinary Hours Clause in Contracts

HOURS OF WORK Ordinary Hours. Except as provided elsewhere in this Agreement, the ordinary working hours will be 36 hours per week (7.2 hours per day) worked between 6.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday. All time worked outside the aforementioned span of hours shall be by agreement with and notified to the Union and paid at double time. Agreement will not unreasonably be withheld. There must be allowed, without deduction of pay, a minimum rest break of 20 minutes between 9.00am and 11.00am in lieu of an afternoon rest pause. Start and Finish Times Typically, work should not commence later than 7.00am on any day unless prior written agreement has been reached with the Union. Any hours worked between 4.00am and 6.00am will be paid at double time for the disability of starting early and accrue towards the ordinary hours for the day. Alteration of the typical start and finish times within the spread of ordinary daily hours shall be by written agreement with the Union. Additionally, the Employer will;
