Notwithstanding the above, an employee absent on leave for Union Business shall receive their holiday allowance for any holiday falling during such leave of absence (excluding leaves of absence in excess of 14 calendar days). (iii) When a Holiday falls during an employee’s vacation, the employee will be allowed to take the Holiday at a time which is mutually agreeable between the employee and the employee’s supervisor. The Holiday will be paid at eight (8) hours straight time in the pay period during which it is taken.
