Common use of Illness - Immediate Family Clause in Contracts

Illness - Immediate Family. The Employee may use up to five (5) days per year of his/her accumulated sick leave to care for a member of his/her immediate family. Immediate family in this instance shall be defined as children and spouse and other persons residing in the household for an extended period of time and who are dependent upon the Employee. If additional time is needed due to special circumstance(s), the Employee may request additional days.
