Common use of Illness - Immediate Family Clause in Contracts

Illness - Immediate Family. This covers an absence from duty of an employee due to severe illness in the employee=s immediate family of up to but not exceeding five (5) working days on any one occasion. When used herein immediate family shall include only father, mother, husband, wife, son, daughter, legal guardian, sister, brother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, step-parents, step-children, step- brother and step-sister.
