IMMUNITIES AND PRIVILEGES. OF THE CORPORATION PERSONNEL
1. All Members of the Standing Committee, Directors, the General Manager, Officials and Employees of and experts performing missions in connection with the Corporation:
(a) shall be immune from legal process with respect to acts performed by them in their official capacity;
(b) where they are not local citizens or nationals, shall be accorded such immunities from immigration restrictions, alien registration requirements and national service obligations, and such facilities as regards exchange regulations, as are not less favourable than those accorded by the Member Countries concerned to the representatives, officials and employees of comparable rank by any other Member Country;
(c) shall be given such repatriation facilities in time of international crises which are not less favourable than those accorded by the Member Countries concerned to the representatives, officials and employees of comparable rank by any other Member Country;
2. Member Countries may limit the immunity conferred by this Article to exclude from its application any civil action arising out of accidents involving motor vehicles belonging to the Corporation or operated on its behalf or from traffic offences committed by the drivers of such motor vehicles. The limitation shall not be enforced until three months after notification of it to the Corporation.
IMMUNITIES AND PRIVILEGES. 1. The ARMO shall be accorded by each of its Members such privileges and immunities as are necessary for the exercise of its functions.
2. The ARMO, its property and assets shall enjoy immunity from all legal proceedings, except when the ARMO waives this immunity.
3. The Chairperson, the representatives in the Administrative Council, persons acting as mediators, Secretary-General, any Deputy Secretary-General, and staff of the Secretariat shall similarly be accorded by each Member such privileges and immunities as are necessary for the independent exercise of their functions in connection with the ARMO.
4. The privileges and immunities to be accorded by a Member as provided in the preceding paragraphs in this Article shall be similar to the privileges and immunities stipulated in the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the Specialized Agencies, approved by the General Assembly of the United Nations on 21 November 1947.

SADC, its Institutions and staff shall, in the territory of each Member State, have such immunities and privileges as are necessary for the proper performance of their functions under this Treaty, and which shall be similar to those accorded to comparable international organisations.
IMMUNITIES AND PRIVILEGES. Nothing in this MoU, or in any document or activity relating thereto, shall be construed as a waiver of the privileges and immunities of the Recipient, nor as conferring any privileges or immunities of the Recipient to the Authority or to their personnel.

IMMUNITIES AND PRIVILEGES of EUJUST THEMIS personnel
1. EUJUST THEMIS personnel shall be granted all privileges and immunities equivalent to that of diplomatic agents granted under the Vienna Convention, subject to which the EU Member States shall have priority of jurisdiction. These privileges and immunities shall be granted to EUJUST THEMIS personnel during their mission, and thereafter, with respect to official acts previously performed in the exercise of their mission.
2. The EU Secretary-General/High Representative shall, with the explicit consent of the competent authority of the Sending State, waive the immunity enjoyed by EUJUST THEMIS personnel where such immunity would impede the course of justice and it can be waived without prejudice to the interests of the EU.
3. EUJUST THEMIS personnel shall have the right to import free of duty or other restrictions items required for their personal use, and to export such items. EUJUST THEMIS personnel shall have the right to purchase free of duty or quantitative restrictions items required for their personal use, and to export such items; for goods and services purchased on the domestic market, EUJUST THEMIS personnel shall be exempt from VAT and taxes according to the laws of the Host Party.
4. EUJUST THEMIS personnel shall be exempt from dues and taxes in the Host Party on the emoluments and salaries they receive by reason of their employment. Where the incidence of any form of taxation depends upon residence, periods during which personnel seconded to EUJUST THEMIS and international staff recruited on a contractual basis by the EU Mission are present in the Host Party for the discharge of their duties shall not be considered as periods of residence.
IMMUNITIES AND PRIVILEGES.
1. The personnel of the logistics support facility, their family members, and ships’ crew members during their stay in the Syrian Arab Republic will respect the laws, customs, and traditions of the host country, with which the authorized agency of the Russian Party will familiarize them upon their arrival in the Syrian Arab Republic.
2. The movable and immovable property of the logistics support facility is inviolable. Representatives of the authorities of the Syrian Arab Republic are not entitled to enter the premises of the logistics support facility without the consent of the logistic support facility commander. The logistics support facility enjoys full immunity from the civil and administrative jurisdiction of the Syrian Arab Republic. Its movable and immovable property shall be immune from search, requisition, arrest, and other enforcement actions.
3. The archives of the logistics support facility, official correspondence, and all documents of the logistics support facility shall be inviolable, wherever they are stored.
4. The personnel of the logistics support facility, including its commander, family members, and ships’ crew members are granted immunities and privileges. The persons described above are guaranteed personal inviolability. They shall not be subject to any form of arrest or detention by the competent authorities of the Syrian Arab Republic. The Syrian Party is obliged to treat them with due respect and to take all appropriate measures to prevent any violation of their personal integrity, freedom, and dignity. The personnel of the logistics support facility and their family members, as well as crew members, are guaranteed the inviolability of their homes, papers, property, and correspondence. These specified persons are immune from the criminal jurisdiction of the Syrian Arab Republic. They also enjoy immunity from civil and administrative jurisdiction, except for real claims related to private real estate located on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic; claims related to inheritance when a person acts as the executor or trustee of an estate or as an heir or beneficiary as a private person and not on behalf of the Russian Federation. The personnel of the logistics support facility and their family members, and crew members, are not required to testify as witnesses to the competent authorities of the Syrian Party. 1. The personnel of the Russian aviation group will, during their stay in the Syrian Arab Republic, respect the laws, customs, and traditions of the host country, with which the authorized agency of the Russian Party will familiarize them upon their arrival in the Syrian Arab Republic.
2. The Russian aviation group enjoys full immunity from the civil and administrative jurisdiction of the Syrian Arab Republic. The movable and immovable property of the Russian aviation group is inviolable. Representatives of the authorities of the Syrian Arab Republic are not entitled to enter locations of the Russian aviation group without the consent of its commander. The archives of the Russian aviation group and all documents belonging to it shall be inviolable, regardless of where they are stored.
3. The personnel of the Russian aviation group, including its commander, as well as their families, are granted immunities and privileges equivalent to the ones granted to diplomatic mission personnel and their family members in accordance with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 18 April 1961.28
4. Vehicles and aircraft of the Russian Federation employed to support of the Russian aviation group are inviolable and are granted immunity from inspection, search, requisition, arrest, and other compulsory measures.
IMMUNITIES AND PRIVILEGES. Contractor expressly acknowledges that TAMUS is an agency of the State of Texas and nothing in this Agreement will be construed as a waiver or relinquishment by TAMUS of its right to claim such exemptions, privileges, and immunities as may be provided by law.
