Indefinite Leave. 16.9.1 An Indefinite leave of absence without pay, for valid reasons, may be granted to any employee by the employer. The employee's request and the employer's response shall be in writing. Requests for such leave shall be made thirty (30) days in advance of the commencement date, except in unavoidable circumstances.
