Individual Staffing Concerns. Employees are strongly encouraged to bring concerns about workload issues to the attention of their supervisor or designee. Upon request, the supervisor or designee will provide direction and guidance that may include the setting of priorities and the adjustment of workload.

Individual Staffing Concerns. A nurse questioning the level of staffing on his or her assigned unit is encouraged to communicate their concern as soon as the problem is identified to his or her Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager. The person in charge of the unit who receives this communication will assess the staffing on the unit and may adjust unit resources as appropriate and feasible. If adjustments are found to be needed and no adjustments are possible within the unit, the person in charge will contact their immediate supervisor on duty. The supervisor will utilize available management resources to try to resolve the situation. If there is no mutually satisfactory resolution to the staffing problem, the nurse may submit an ADO to the Association and the Nurse Manager. Submitted ADOs shall be reviewed and assessed by the Nurse Staffing Committee to determine if a response isneeded.

The Employer shall provide a written response to nurses who have submitted written forms. All such forms and written responses shall be compiled and reviewed by Association representatives, who will identify trends on a regular basis and present them to the WSNA/Management Committee on an as-needed basis. Following revision of the form as stated above, all forms submitted to the Employer and responses thereto will be simultaneously delivered to a representative of the Association’s choice. 18.3.1 A nurse, upon identifying a patient care concern, shall report the concern immediately to her/his nurse team leader or the nurse manager on duty. If no resolution occurs at this level, then the nurse shall report the matter to a patient care director. 18.3.2 All staffing concern forms and written responses shall be compiled and reviewed by the Staffing Committee, who will identify trends on a regular basis, develop

  • FALSE STATEMENTS CONCERNING HIGHWAY PROJECTS T h i s p r o v i s i o n i s applicable to all Federal-aid construction contracts and to all related subcontracts. In order to assure high quality and durable construction in conformity with approved plans and specifications and a high degree of reliability on statements and representations made by engineers, contractors, suppliers, and workers on Federal- aid highway projects, it is essential that all persons concerned with the project perform their functions as carefully, thoroughly, and honestly as possible. Willful falsification, distortion, or misrepresentation with respect to any facts related to the project is a violation of Federal law. To prevent any misunderstanding regarding the seriousness of these and similar acts, Form FHWA-1022 shall be posted on each Federal-aid highway project (23 CFR 635) in one or more places where it is readily available to all persons concerned with the project: 18 U.S.C. 1020 reads as follows: "Whoever, being an officer, agent, or employee of the United States, or of any State or Territory, or whoever, whether a person, association, firm, or corporation, knowingly makes any false statement, false representation, or false report as to the character, quality, quantity, or cost of the material used or to be used, or the quantity or quality of the work performed or to be performed, or the cost thereof in connection with the submission of plans, maps, specifications, contracts, or costs of construction on any highway or related project submitted for approval to the Secretary of Transportation; or Whoever knowingly makes any false statement, false representation, false report or false claim with respect to the character, quality, quantity, or cost of any work performed or to be performed, or materials furnished or to be furnished, in connection with the construction of any highway or related project approved by the Secretary of Transportation; or Whoever knowingly makes any false statement or false representation as to material fact in any statement, certificate, or report submitted pursuant to provisions of the Federal-aid Roads Act approved July 1, 1916, (39 Stat. 355), as amended and supplemented; Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 5 years or both."

  • Covenant to Provide Financial Information and Maintain Sufficient Capital The Administrator shall obtain and maintain the necessary capital to fulfill its obligations under this Agreement and shall remain solvent. The Administrator will report to the Issuer on a semi-annual basis its current and total assets, current and total liabilities, and total equity and the Company intends to include such amounts in its SEC reports.

  • Information Concerning the Fund and SubAdviser From time to time as the Adviser or the Fund may request, the SubAdviser will furnish the requesting party information and reports on portfolio transactions and reports on Fund assets held in the portfolio, all in such detail, form and frequency as the Adviser or the Fund may reasonably request. The SubAdviser will also provide the Adviser with notice and analysis of events that may affect or relate to the valuation of the Fund’s portfolio.

  • Tax Examinations Abroad 1. A Contracting Party may allow representatives of the competent authority of the other Contracting Party to enter the territory of the first-mentioned Party to interview individuals and examine records with the written consent of the persons concerned. The competent authority of the second-mentioned Party shall notify the competent authority of the first-mentioned Party of the time and place of the meeting with the individuals concerned. 2. At the request of the competent authority of one Contracting Party, the competent authority of the other Contracting Party may allow representatives of the competent authority of the first-mentioned Party to be present at the appropriate part of a tax examination in the second-mentioned Party. 3. If the request referred to in paragraph 2 is acceded to, the competent authority of the Contracting Party conducting the examination shall, as soon as possible, notify the competent authority of the other Party about the time and place of the examination, the authority or official designated to carry out the examination and the procedures and conditions required by the first-mentioned Party for the conduct of the examination. All decisions with respect to the conduct of the tax examination shall be made by the Party conducting the examination.

  • Presentation of Potential Target Businesses The Company shall cause each of the Initial Shareholders to agree that, in order to minimize potential conflicts of interest which may arise from multiple affiliations, the Initial Shareholders will present to the Company for its consideration, prior to presentation to any other person or company, any suitable opportunity to acquire an operating business, until the earlier of the consummation by the Company of a Business Combination or the liquidation of the Company, subject to any pre-existing fiduciary obligations the Initial Shareholders might have.

Mechanized LMUs should be submitted through BellSouth's OSS interfaces. After obtaining the Loop information from the mechanized LMU process, if Comcast Phone needs further Loop information in order to determine Loop service capability, Comcast Phone may initiate a separate Manual Service Inquiry for a separate nonrecurring charge as set forth in Exhibit A of this Attachment. 2.6.2.2 Manual LMUSIs shall be submitted according to the guidelines in the LMU CLEC Information Package, incorporated herein by reference, as it may be amended from time to time, which can be found at the following BellSouth website: xxxx://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx/guides/html/unes.html . The service interval for the return of a Manual LMUSI is three (3) business days. Manual LMUSIs are not subject to expedite requests.   • LIFE COMPANY TO PROVIDE DOCUMENTS; INFORMATION ABOUT AVIF (a) LIFE COMPANY will provide to AVIF or its designated agent at least one (1) complete copy of all SEC registration statements, Account Prospectuses, reports, any preliminary and final voting instruction solicitation material, applications for exemptions, requests for no-action letters, and all amendments to any of the above, that relate to each Account or the Contracts, contemporaneously with the filing of such document with the SEC or other regulatory authorities. (b) LIFE COMPANY will provide to AVIF or its designated agent at least one (1) complete copy of each piece of sales literature or other promotional material in which AVIF or any of its affiliates is named, at least five (5) Business Days prior to its use or such shorter period as the Parties hereto may, from time to time, agree upon. No such material shall be used if AVIF or its designated agent objects to such use within five (5) Business Days after receipt of such material or such shorter period as the Parties hereto may, from time to time, agree upon. AVIF hereby designates INVESCO as the entity to receive such sales literature, until such time as AVIF appoints another designated agent by giving notice to LIFE COMPANY in the manner required by Section 9 hereof. (c) Neither LIFE COMPANY nor any of its affiliates, will give any information or make any representations or statements on behalf of or concerning AVIF or its affiliates in connection with the sale of the Contracts other than (i) the information or representations contained in the registration statement, including the AVIF Prospectus contained therein, relating to Shares, as such registration statement and AVIF Prospectus may be amended from time to time; or (ii) in reports or proxy materials for AVIF ; or (iii) in published reports for AVIF that are in the public domain and approved by AVIF for distribution; or (iv) in sales literature or other promotional material approved by AVIF , except with the express written permission of AVIF . (d) LIFE COMPANY shall adopt and implement procedures reasonably designed to ensure that information concerning AVIF and its affiliates that is intended for use only by brokers or agents selling the Contracts (i.e., information that is not intended for distribution to Participants) (“broker only materials”) is so used, and neither AVIF nor any of its affiliates shall be liable for any losses, damages or expenses relating to the improper use of such broker only materials. (e) For the purposes of this Section 4.5, the phrase “sales literature or other promotional material” includes, but is not limited to, advertisements (such as material published, or designed for use in, a newspaper, magazine, or other periodical, radio, television, telephone or tape recording, videotape display, signs or billboards, motion pictures, or other public media, (e.g., on-line networks such as the Internet or other electronic messages), sales literature (i.e., any written communication distributed or made generally available to customers or the public, including brochures, circulars, research reports, market letters, form letters, seminar texts, reprints or excerpts of any other advertisement, sales literature, or published article), educational or training materials or other communications distributed or made generally available to some or all agents or employees, registration statements, prospectuses, statements of additional information, shareholder reports, and proxy materials and any other material constituting sales literature or advertising under FINRA rules, the 1933 Act, or the 0000 Xxx.
