Inter-Office Mail. 48. To the extent permissible under the law, the Union may make reasonable use of the City's interoffice mail system to communicate with appointing officers, personnel officers, stewards and officers of the Union.
Inter-Office Mail. The County inter-office and inter-department mail systems may be used for the mailing of grievances (including attachments), grievance responses and grievance appeals only. Employee representatives may use the County e-mail system exclusively and only for: ▪ the purpose of communicating with County Management in the regular course of Union/County business. ▪ communicating with management to make arrangements to investigate or process grievances. ▪ management shall be responsible for communicating directly with employees engaged in grievances or discipline on behalf of the union to arrange scheduling and release time as appropriate. Also to audit the use of employee representatives chargeable release time. The union acknowledges that there is no expectation of privacy in e-mail communications and that the County may monitor any union e-mail used on the County’s e-mail system or infrastructure for compliance with these authorized uses.
Inter-Office Mail. The parties agree that the County will provide the PBA with $1500.00 per year, no later than the first week of January, to cover the expenses of mailing Union literature to PBA members. This settlement will be retroactive to 1998. In consideration for this payment, the Union agrees to cease distributing Union literature through employees' paychecks, except in the following situations:
Inter-Office Mail. Recognized employee organizations shall be authorized to use County inter-departmental mail for routine correspondence and for distribution of material authorized to be posted on appropriate bulletin boards, provided, however, that inter-departmental mail shall not be used for the distribution of employee material pertaining to a major labor dispute such as a strike, by whatever euphemism known.
Inter-Office Mail. 40. To the extent permissible under the law, the Union may make reasonable use of the SFMTA’s interoffice mail system to communicate with appointing officers, personnel officers, stewards and officers of the Union.
