JOB DESCRIPTION & EVALUATION. 12.1 The Employer shall, upon receiving Council approval for the creation of a new position or as a result of the restructuring of a Department, Division, or Section, resulting in changes to the essential character of a position(s), prepare a job description in accordance with the requirements of the manual of procedures within a period of sixty (60) calendar days of such approval. It is understood by the parties that the scope of any appeal launched with respect to the description or the rating of a job is limited by management’s exclusive right to determine job content and, generally speaking, as articulated in Article 3.5 of the Collective Agreement.

JOB DESCRIPTION & EVALUATION. The parties recognize that new pay equity and job evaluation plans need to be developed and implemented as a result of the Xxxx 136/25 processes. In the interim period, to facilitate harmonization of the CUPE collective agreements, the job evaluation plans under the former Local 5 outside and Local 167 inside collective agreements shall continue to be the operative plans as applicable. Bargaining unit employees not previously covered by either of the above noted evaluation plans shall be deemed covered by the plan that would have applied to them based on their job classification. In all cases the predominant nature/features of the job duties/classification shall be used to determine whether a job should be rated under the inside or outside job evaluation plan. The above -mentioned Local 167 and 5 job evaluation manual and procedures shall form part of this collective agreement.

  • Job Description The Employer agrees to draw up job descriptions for all positions for which the Union is bargaining agent. These descriptions shall be presented and discussed with the Union and shall become the recognized job descriptions unless the Union presents written objection with thirty (30) calendar days. If such objection cannot be resolved, the issue may be subject to grievance and arbitration.

  • Job Descriptions The Employer agrees to supply each employee with a copy of her current job description. Upon request, the Union and the Bargaining Unit Chair shall be provided copies of all job descriptions in the bargaining unit.

  • (b) - Job Descriptions A copy of the current job description for a bargaining unit position shall be made available to the Union upon request. When a new classification which is covered by terms of this collective agreement is created, a copy of the job description shall be forwarded to the Union at the time that the Hospital notifies the local Union of the rate of pay pursuant to article 20.01(a) above.

  • Task Description This task includes activities associated with permit-required monitoring conducted in accordance with the conditions specified by state or federal regulatory agencies. All monitoring tasks must be located within or adjacent to the Project area and follow the Department’s Regional Coastal Monitoring Program and FWC's marine turtle and shorebird monitoring programs.
