Job Reduction. If due to job reduction an employee is transferred for a period of less than four (4) weeks to work where the job rate is lower, he or she shall retain his/her regular job rate. At the expiration of four (4) consecutive weeks the lower job rate shall prevail and the employee shall cease to have any right to return to his/her prior posted job unless on a new posting. If an employee is transferred to a lower rated job on a job posting or at the employee’s request, then the lower rate of pay shall apply immediately. When the transfer is the result of inability to perform the job, health, or request, the lower rate shall apply immediately.

Job Reduction. If due to job reduction an employee who has been hired subsequent to the date of ratification of this Agreement is transferred for a period of less than six (6) weeks to work where the job rate is lower, he shall retain his regular job rate. At the expiration of six (6) consecutive weeks the lower job rate shall prevail and the employee shall cease to have any right to return to his prior posted job unless on a new posting. Employees hired prior to the date of ratification of this Agreement who are transferred due to a job reduction, shall retain their regular job rate for a period of twelve (12) consecutive weeks. At the expiration of twelve (12) consecutive weeks off the reduced job, the lower job rate shall prevail and the employee shall cease to have any right to return to his prior posted job, unless on a new posting. If an employee is transferred to a lower rated job on a job posting or at the employee’s request, then the lower rate of pay shall apply immediately.

  • PERSONNEL REDUCTION In the event of a personnel reduction, the employee with the least seniority shall be laid off first. Time in the Fire Department shall be given the utmost consideration. No new employee shall be hired until the laid-off employee has been given the opportunity to return to work, nor shall the position be replaced by a volunteer. (Excepted are conflicting provisions of contracts to serve surrounding communities.)

  • Staff Reduction In the event the District adopts a reduced educational program by reason of financial necessity, including but not limited to, levy failure and/or decreased State or Federal support, certificated employees who will be retained to implement the District’s reduced or modified program and those certificated employees who will be non-renewed from employment or adversely affected in contract status shall be identified by the provisions contained in this Article. If the District is only reducing provisional employees, the following procedures do not need to be implemented.

  • WORKFORCE REDUCTION In the event that funding reductions or shortfalls in funding occur in a department or are expected, which may result in layoffs, the department will notify the union and take the following actions:

  • Financial Reductions Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, and at the discretion of the Funder, the HSP may be subject to a financial reduction in any of the following circumstances: its CAPS is received after the due date; its CAPS is incomplete; the quarterly performance reports are not provided when due; or financial or clinical data requirements are late, incomplete or inaccurate, where the errors or delay were not as a result of Funder actions or inaction or the actions or inactions of persons acting on behalf of the Funder. If assessed, the financial reduction will be as follows: if received within 7 Days after the due date, incomplete or inaccurate, the financial penalty will be the greater of (1) a reduction of 0.02 percent (0.02%) of the Funding; or (2) two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00); and for every full or partial week of non-compliance thereafter, the rate will be one half of the initial reduction.

  • Salary on Reduction A. 1. When a probationary employee is reduced to a class not previously occupied by the employee, the employee shall receive the recruiting step for the lower class and shall receive a new merit increase eligibility date as provided in Section 3.C., above, or the employee's salary and merit increase eligibility date may be determined by the Chief Human Resources Officer.

  • Reduction of Compensation If the Firm fails to meet the submission date by less than thirty days for the draft report and/or working papers submitted to the Office of the State Auditor for review and approval or by less than thirty days from the completion date for the final reports and/or corrections to the working papers prescribed herein, the District may, with the consent of the Office of the State Auditor, reduce the agreed compensation by an amount not to exceed ten percent of the total contract price for the applicable fiscal year.   • Reduction A. No regular employee or limited-term regular employee shall be reduced to a position in a lower class for reasons of unsatisfactory performance or physical disability except for reasonable cause.

  • Salary Reduction The Salary Reduction Agreement (SRA) is utilized to establish, change or cancel salary reduction withheld from your paycheck and contributed to the 457(b) plan on your behalf. Please check the appropriate boxes listed below and list the beginning of the month in which you intend your contributions to begin under the Effective Date.   • REDUCTION IN WORKFORCE 16.01 The employer will layoff employees in reverse order of seniority within the classification provided those retained have the ability to do the work. No new employee will be hired until all those qualified employees with recall rights have been given the opportunity to return to work and have failed to do so.

  • COMMUTE TRIP REDUCTION AND PARKING 24.1 The Employer will continue to encourage but not require employees to use alternate means of transportation to commute to and from work consistent with the Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) law and the needs of the Employer and the community.
