Joint Committee Work. When the University requests a Union representative to participate in a University- wide joint committee for the purpose of discussing rules, regulations, and policies to be observed by employees, the member will be compensated at their basic hourly rate for their attendance at the meeting(s). The Union will notify the Director of Faculty and Staff Relations prior to the meeting(s) with the name of the Union representative and the name of the University-wide joint committee.
