Common use of Jury Duty and Subpoena Leave Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty and Subpoena Leave. Leaves of absence with pay shall be granted for jury duty, when an employee is subpoenaed to appear in a court of law and/or required to make a deposition on a school related matter. The employee shall reimburse the District for any compensation or witness fees received for duty performed on contracted days. Expense money shall be the property of the employee.

Jury Duty and Subpoena Leave. Leaves Leave of absence with pay shall be granted for jury duty, so long as a qualified substitute for that employee's primary duties, classes and subjects is available. The employee shall notify the District when notification to serve on jury duty is received. Leaves of absence with pay shall be granted when an employee is subpoenaed to appear in a court of law and/or law, or otherwise required to make a deposition on a school related matter. The employee shall reimburse the District for any compensation or witness fees received for duty performed on contracted days. Expense money shall be the property of the employeean appearance in court.
