Common use of Jury Duty and Witness Service Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty and Witness Service. An Employee who loses time from work during his/her regularly scheduled hours because of having been subpoenaed to testify or to serve on jury, will be paid the difference between the subpoena pay or pay for jury duty and his/her regular pay. After serving as a witness or on jury duty, the Employee will return to his/her regular scheduled daily work.

Jury Duty and Witness Service. An Employee who loses time from work during his/her regularly scheduled hours because of having been subpoenaed to testify on behalf of the District or pre- approval has been obtained from the District for non-related school district affairs to appear at a hearing or to serve on jury, will be paid the difference between the subpoena pay or pay for jury duty and his/her regular pay. After serving as a witness or on jury duty, the Employee will return to his/her regular scheduled daily work.

Jury Duty and Witness Service. An Employee employee who loses time from work during hisher/her regularly scheduled hours his normal schedule of work because of having been subpoenaed jury duty or to testify or pursuant to serve on jury, will a subpoena shall be paid the difference between the subpoena pay or pay for jury such time lost at her/his hourly rate. Jury duty and his/her regular witness fees shall be offset against such pay. After serving as a witness or on jury duty, the Employee will return to his/her regular scheduled daily work.
