Common use of Jury Duty/Witness Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty/Witness. Employees shall not suffer any time loss for time spent on jury duty or as a subpoenaed witness for a matter related to their City duties. If the employee is released from duty early, they will return to work. All compensation received as a result of such service, during the employee’s scheduled workweek, will be transferred to the City.
