Pallbearer. One (1) day’s leave at the employee’s regular rate of pay shall be granted to an employee to attend a funeral as a pallbearer.
Pallbearer. The School principal or any department head is authorized to approve any employee’s request to serve as a pallbearer.
Pallbearer. 1. A teacher will be granted up to one (1) day without loss of pay, depending on the distance involved, to attend a funeral as a pallbearer.
Pallbearer. In the event that an employee is requested to serve as an unpaid pallbearer, the employee may do so without loss of pay or fringe benefits for a maximum of two (2) days per calendar year. This provision shall not apply to any employee eligible for leave as provided in Article 29, Bereavement Leave.
Pallbearer. A seniority employee called upon to act as a pallbearer will be paid at his base hourly rate exclusive of premiums for the time involved, up to a maximum of four (4) hours, provided he obtains his xxxxxxx’x authorization in advance.
Pallbearer. One day’s leave of absence shall be granted for the purpose of being a pallbearer.
Pallbearer. An employee selected to be a pallbearer for a deceased fellow employee will be allowed up to one (1) F.W.D. with pay.
Pallbearer. An employee may be granted up to four (4) hours with pay to serve as pallbearer on the day of a funeral, if approved by the operating unit supervisor. An employee who is serving as pallbearer shall be granted the opportunity to utilize sick leave to cover the additional 4 (if working an eight hour shift) or 6 (if working a ten hour shift) hours for his/her attendance at a funeral. Utilization of sick leave for this purpose shall be at the employee's discretion. Failure to request this benefit shall not constitute the employee's right to take the time off as unpaid leave.
Pallbearer. An employee serving as a pallbearer at any funeral may be granted up to four (4) hours leave without loss of pay. Employees shall not actually solicit pallbearer positions.
Pallbearer. Employees will be entitled to one (1) day leave of absence with pay to attend a funeral as a pallbearer.
