Common use of Jury Duty/Witness Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty/Witness. The District will pay full salary during the time a teacher is on jury duty or if a teacher is subpoenaed by a clerk of a court and served on the employee to attend as a witness at a trial or to have his or her deposition taken in any school-related matter pending in court. The teacher shall remit to the District the reimbursement given to the teacher for jury duty, excluding out-of-pocket cost for transportation and parking as determined by the county.
