Common use of Labour Relations Committee Clause in Contracts

Labour Relations Committee. a) The Parties agree that the purpose of the Labour Relations Committee is to provide a forum through which the Parties may exchange information and views on all matters concerning the functioning of the Libraries as well as labour relations. These matters may not necessarily be specifically covered by the terms of the Collective Agreement. The Parties also agree that this committee should not be used as a substitute for the grievance and arbitration procedure.
