Labourers a Adult workers over 18 years of age employed as labourers shall be paid the rate of wages as set out in Appendix ‘1’ to this Agreement.
Labourers. The Labourers shall not perform work usually carried out by electricians. They may be employed to dig trenches, handle ladders, scaffolding etc., and assist electricians laying heavy cables. They shall not help electricians running conduit, casing, cables, etc., or in any way, in regard to Rule 12, take the place of an apprentice.
Labourers. Labourers are expected to keep the shop or job site clean and safe. They are expected to be able to lift materials properly without hurting himself or herself or the scenery. Labourers maybe be trained to safely operate the overhead cranes. The labourers will also be expected to keep washrooms and lunchroom areas clean.
Labourers. (a) The following tools of trade shall be supplied to labourers when necessary for the performance of their duties:
(i) Knives, equipped with a suitable guard of the type which stops the hand from slipping on to the blade;
(ii) scabbard or other sheath made of impervious and non-ferrous material capable of being made sterile with ease.
(iii) steel, with a plastic ring of at least 5cm (two inches) diameter.
(b) These shall remain the property of the employer.
(c) They shall be returned to the employer on termination of the employment or if they are not returned the employer shall be entitled to deduct their cost from any money owing to the employees.
Labourers. Advancement through the labourer classifications shall be as follows;
a. Entry level labourer – A labourer with less than 700 hours of service.
b. Labourer - A labourer with between 701 and 2000 hours of service.
c. Skilled Labourers – a labourer with more than 2001 hours of service.
Labourers. 10.1 Loitering by labourers shall not be permitted on the Complex;
10.2 Contractors and/or labourers entering the Complex on an ad hoc basis, for one day or a maximum of 5 (five) days at a time (e.g. glazers, under floor heating specialists, landscapers, cleaners, etc.) shall obtain temporary permits at a cost as determined by the HOA. Service providers requiring access for quoting purposes will be treated as visitors to the Complex;

Labourers. Labourers may be employed to do general clean up and labour work (non-electrical). Labourers will not do any work within the Ontario College of Trades Scope of Practice for an Electrician. Dues and fund amounts, including Pension amounts, must be remitted on their account.
Labourers. Labourers may only be used strictly for labouring work (e.g. carrying material). All painting and sandblasting work will be carried out by Forepersons or Apprentices. A labourer may be paid at eighty percent (80%) of the Painter Rate.
Labourers. Employees employed prior to 16 September 2002 shall be paid the amount as per Appendix 2 in Part A of this Agreement. Employees employed on or after 16 September 2002 do not receive any shift allowance payment.
