Late Shift. 28 Any employee in the bargaining unit whose regularly assigned work shift commences between 2:00 29 P.M. and 1:00 A.M. shall have the paid thirty (30) minute lunch period included in his/her eight (8) 30 hour workday.

Late Shift. This allowance is paid on a per shift basis where ordinary time for a weekday (Monday to Friday) shift commences or finishes at or between 0101 hours and 0359 hours. The allowance rate paid per shift is shown in Schedule 1: Allowances. In calculating the allowance under the shift allowances subclause, broken parts of an hour less than thirty minutes on any shift shall be disregarded and thirty minutes to fifty-nine minutes paid as one hour. Shift allowances are only paid on the first 8 hours of any rostered shift as the hours beyond 8 are paid in accordance with clauses 5.2.5 and 3.3.7.

Late Shift. 4.3.1 Any full-time unit employee whose regular assigned work shift begins at 12:00 p.m. or later shall be paid a shift differential of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) per month above the regular rate of pay for employees in the same classification. 4.3.2 A unit employee who receives a late shift premium on the basis of his/her regular assignment shall receive no reduction in pay, including differential, when assigned temporarily to a day assignment.

  • Shift Premiums (a) All employees who are required by the Employer to rotate over two (2) or more shifts shall receive a shift premium of thirty cents ($0.30) for each hour worked on the afternoon or evening shifts only. Shift premium will not be paid for any hour in which an employee receives overtime premium and shift premium will not form part of the employee's straight time hourly rate. (b) In no event shall there be any pyramiding of benefits or payments.
