Late Starting of employees shall be treated as follows: A) An employee who is late fifteen (15) minutes or less and calls in prior to the start of his scheduled shift or has a reasonable excuse for failing to do so shall not be deducted any pay for that period of lateness. B) Should an employee be late in excess of fifteen (15) minutes the employee shall be deducted fifteen (15) minutes pay for each period of fifteen (15) minutes or part thereof of lateness. C) Should any employee be late in excess of one (1) hour, he will be subject to any work designated to him on that day. D) When an employee is absent from work, and does not report to the Company that he will be back on the job the next day, he will be subject to any work designated to him on the day he returns to work. For the purposes of this section, reporting to the Company shall mean contact either personally or by telephone with a Supervisor, or designated call in line (000- 0000).
Late Starting. 25.1 Late starting up to three minutes shall not be taken into account when calculating pay. Employees more than three (3) minutes late shall lose fifteen (15) minutes; employees more than eighteen (18) minutes late shall lose one-half hour and so on for each fifteen (15) minute period. No employee reporting late for work will be required to start work until the end of the penalty period. 25.2 Any employee neglecting to punch in or out will be penalized one-quarter hour first omission in any pay period. Any subsequent omissions in the same pay period will be penalized one-half hour for each omission. This provision shall not apply when the employee’s clock card is not in the rack, provided the employee reports the missing to his Xxxxxxx or Time Checker.
Late Starting. Entertainmentpro will not be liable for any refund, in part or whole, where ‘we’ are late accessing the venue and setting up purely because of earlier events over-running, or where ‘we’ are prevented from accessing, setting up or providing our professional services by the venue management. Neither will Entertainmentpro be obligated to provide an extension to the agreed timescale on a pro-rata basis in these circumstances.

Late Starting. Late starting is defined as failing to report to work on time at the start of a shift or failing to report to work on time at the end of a lunch break. Employees are subject to the disciplinary procedure when late twice in a one week period (seven calendar days), or four times in a one month period (30 calendar days).

  • Late Arrival Fees are calculated according to the times stipulated in the schedule and no adjustment shall be made for time lost because of late arrival by the Student. Any lost time because of the late arrival of the Tutor shall be compensated for by extending a lesson by mutual agreement and by such amount of time that was lost.

  • Late Rent If Rent is not paid within days of the Due Date, the Rent shall be considered past due and a late fee of ☐ $ or ☐ % of the Rent past due shall be applied for every ☐ day Rent is late or ☐ occurrence Rent is late.

  • Work Year The full-time work year for all employees employed in EA and ECE job classes shall be a minimum of 194 work days to correspond with the school year calendar.

  • Length of School Year 4.6.1 Except where reduced by any lawful decision of the employer to close the school to students, the length of the school year for each school shall be determined according to the requirement that schools are required to be open for at least 380 half days in any one calendar year. 4.6.2 The normal teaching load of teachers in respect of any one year is therefore related to that requirement.

  • COST OF LIVING ALLOWANCE 29:01 All employees within the Bargaining Unit shall be paid a cost of living allowance based on the cost of living formula as set forth below: The cost of living allowance will be determined in accordance with changes in the Consumer Price Index, published by Statistics Canada (1961 = 100) and hereinafter referred to as the Consumer Price Index. The base Consumer Price Index shall be the Consumer Price Index for February 2016. The first (1st) cost of living adjustment shall be based on the Consumer Price Index of May, 2016, and each three (3) months thereafter compared to the base Consumer Price Index for February 2016. Cost of living adjustments shall be made on pay periods commencing 11:59 p.m. on the following dates: July 5, 2016; October 11, 2016; January 17, 2017; and April 10, 2017. The cost of living rate adjustment shall be One ($0.01) Cent per hour for each point five (.5) change in the Consumer Price Index. The cost of living allowance will be adjusted up or down if and as required for each quarterly period in accordance with the above mentioned formula, provided, however, that in no event will a decline in the Consumer Price Index below the figure as recorded for February, 2016, minus 2.5 points provide a basis for further reduction in the straight time rates set forth in Schedule "A" of the within Agreement. The amount of cost of living Allowance in effect at any time shall be included in computing vacation pay, holiday pay, call-in pay, sick pay, paid leave of absence and Workplace Safety Insurance Board payments. The amount of cost of living allowance shall be included in computing overtime pay except that there shall be no pyramiding as stated in clause 19:06 of the within Agreement. As of June 30, 2016, the cost of living rate adjustment less Five ($0.05) Cents* will be added to the base rates set forth in Schedule "A" in order to create new base rates - said new base rates to be effective as of July 1, 2016. Upon creation of new base rates as provided in the preceding paragraph, a new base Consumer Price Index shall be established and shall be calculated as being the Consumer Price Index for February 2016 minus 2.5 points. This article shall be frozen during the life of the Collective Agreement and no monies will be generated or paid during the term of the Collective Agreement. *The Five ($0.05) Cents referred to was folded into the Base Hourly Wage Rates noted in Schedule “A” effective July 1, 1986. The University of Windsor and C.U.P.E., Local 1001 recognize that some Employees in the Bargaining Unit are using the Sick Leave Plan for illness and various medical appointments above the normal average within the University staff. The Union believes it is the duty of the Employer to manage the Sick Leave Plan and the Union's duty to represent their members eligible to receive sick pay to the best of their ability. To assist the Employer with their concern over the use of the Plan and to protect the interest of the members against any possible erosion of the existing Plan, the Union agrees to counsel all employees by letter and by presentations at general meetings on the need for regular attendance. Further, the Union will encourage members, whenever possible, to schedule appointments after their shift has concluded or as near to the end of their shift as possible.

  • Base Term Commencing on the Expansion Premises Commencement Date, the defined term “Base Term” on page 1 of the Lease is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following:

  • Monthly Base Rent With respect to any Payment Date and any Lease Vehicle (other than a Lease Vehicle with respect to which the Disposition Date occurred during such Related Month), the “Monthly Base Rent” with respect to such Lease Vehicle for such Payment Date shall equal the pro rata portion (based upon the number of days in the Related Month with respect to such Payment Date that were included in the Vehicle Term for such Lease Vehicle) of the Depreciation Charge for such Lease Vehicle as of the last day of such Related Month calculated on a 30/360 day basis.

  • Minimum Monthly Rent Tenant shall pay minimum monthly rent (“Minimum Monthly Rent”) in the initial amount stated in Section 1.5. The Minimum Monthly Rent shall be increased as set forth in Section 1.5 and/or elsewhere in this Lease. Tenant shall pay the Minimum Monthly Rent on or before the first day of each calendar month, in advance, at the office of Landlord or at such other place designated by Landlord, without deduction, offset or prior demand. If the Commencement Date is not the first day of a calendar month, the rent for the partial month at the beginning of the Lease Term shall be prorated on a per diem basis and shall be due on the first day of such partial month. Upon execution of this Lease, and before the Commencement Date, Tenant shall pay to Landlord the aggregate of the first month’s Minimum Monthly Rent, the first month’s Monthly Impound Payment (see Section 4.4), and the Security Deposit (see Section 5).

  • Base Rent Purchaser will receive a credit at Closing for the prorated amount of all base or fixed rent payable pursuant to the Leases and all Additional Rents (collectively, “Rent”) previously paid to, or collected by, Seller and attributable to any period following the Closing Date. Rents are “Delinquent” when they were due prior to the Closing Date, and payment thereof has not been made on or before the Closing Date. Delinquent Rent shall not be prorated at Closing. All Rent collected by Purchaser or Seller from each tenant from and after Closing will be applied as follows: (i) first, to Delinquent Rent owed for the month in which the Closing Date occurs (the “Closing Month”), (ii) second, to any accrued Rents owing to Purchaser, and (iii) third, to Delinquent Rents owing to Seller for the period prior to Closing. Any Rent collected by Purchaser and due Seller will be promptly remitted to Seller. Any Rent collected by Seller and due Purchaser shall be promptly remitted to Purchaser. Purchaser shall use reasonable efforts to collect Delinquent Rents owed to Seller in the ordinary course of its business; provided, however, that Seller hereby retains the right to pursue any tenant under the Leases for any Rent and other sums due Seller for period attributable to Seller’s ownership of the Property; and provided further, however, Seller (i) shall be required to notify Purchaser in writing of Seller’s intention to commence or pursue any legal proceedings; and (ii) shall not be permitted to commence or pursue any legal proceedings against any tenant seeking eviction of such tenant or the termination of the underlying Lease. “Additional Rents” shall mean any and all amounts due from tenants for operating expenses, common area maintenance charges, taxes, shared utility charges, management fees, insurance costs, other comparable expenses and pass-through charges and any other tenant charges. The provisions of this Section 14.5 shall survive the Closing and the delivery of any conveyance documentation.

  • Late Fee All overdue accrued and unpaid interest to be paid hereunder shall entail a late fee at an interest rate equal to the lesser of 18% per annum or the maximum rate permitted by applicable law (the “Late Fees”) which shall accrue daily from the date such interest is due hereunder through and including the date of actual payment in full.
