Lead Upgrade. If the Company deems it necessary, it may upgrade an employee to act as lead. Employees designated as lead under this provision will not exceed one-hundred eighty (180) days. If necessary after this assignment, the lead will be offered to other qualified employees within the classification in the area. If there is no interest, the same employee may be assigned to act as lead.

The employee upgraded shall be paid an hourly wage rate of $1.60 per hour above the regular base wage rate or $1.60 per hour above the base wage rate of the employee in the highest classification (this excludes any red-circled employee or an employee working outside their classification) working in the work group, whichever is higher. Employees will not be forced to take a lead position.
Lead Upgrade. If the Company deems it necessary, it may upgrade an employee to give work direction to employees in their specific classifications and/or other crafts on specific jobs. Employees designated as lead under provision will not exceed one-hundred eighty (180) calendar days. If necessary, after this assignment, the lead will be offered to other qualified employees within the classification. If there is no interest, the same employee may be assigned to act as lead. The employee upgraded shall be paid an additional twenty-five percent (25%) of their hourly wage rate for all hours worked as Lead Upgrade. Employees in this capacity may be required to use the tools of their classification.
Lead Upgrade. If the company deems it necessary, it may upgrade a trained and/or qualified employee to act as a lead in supervisory related positions. The employee upgraded shall be paid $1.25 per hour above their normal base pay. The upgraded employee may be designated as a lead for the purposes of filling in for a supervisor, for assisting a supervisor in giving work direction to employees, or acting as a designated point-of-contact. The most senior qualified volunteer in the area needing the lead person will be provided the upgrade opportunity.

Related to Lead Upgrade

  • Network Upgrades The Transmission Owner shall design, procure, construct, install, and own the Network Upgrades described in Attachment 6 of this Agreement. If the Transmission Owner and the Interconnection Customer agree, the Interconnection Customer may construct Network Upgrades that are located on land owned by the Interconnection Customer. Unless the Transmission Owner elects to pay for Network Upgrades, the actual cost of the Network Upgrades, including overheads, shall be borne initially by the Interconnection Customer.

  • System Upgrades The Connecting Transmission Owner shall procure, construct, install, and own the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Attachment 6 of this Agreement. To the extent that design work is necessary in addition to that already accomplished in the Class Year Interconnection Facilities Study for the Interconnection Customer, the Connecting Transmission Owner shall perform or cause to be performed such work. If all the Parties agree, the Interconnection Customer may construct System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades. 5.2.1 As described in Section 32.3.5.3 of the SGIP in Attachment Z of the ISO OATT, the responsibility of the Interconnection Customer for the cost of the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Attachment 6 of this Agreement shall be determined in accordance with Attachment S of the ISO OATT, as required by Section 32.3.5.3.2

  • Software Upgrades All Software Releases (including all Error corrections made available pursuant to this Agreement) that RSA in its sole discretion: (a) deems to be logical improvements to the Software; (b) make generally available to all licensees of the Software; and (c) does not separately price or market.

  • System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades Connecting Transmission Owner shall design, procure, construct, install, and own the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Appendix A hereto. The responsibility of the Developer for costs related to System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of Attachment S to the NYISO OATT.

  • Technology Upgrades Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, Verizon shall have the right to deploy, upgrade, migrate and maintain its network at its discretion. The Parties acknowledge that Verizon, at its election, may deploy fiber throughout its network and that such fiber deployment may inhibit or facilitate PNG’s ability to provide service using certain technologies. Nothing in this Agreement shall limit Verizon's ability to modify its network through the incorporation of new equipment or software or otherwise. PNG shall be solely responsible for the cost and activities associated with accommodating such changes in its own network.

  • Network Upgrades and Distribution Upgrades The Participating TO shall design, procure, construct, install, and own the Network Upgrades and Distribution Upgrades described in Appendix A. The Interconnection Customer shall be responsible for all costs related to Distribution Upgrades. Unless the Participating TO elects to fund the capital for the Distribution Upgrades and Network Upgrades, they shall be solely funded by the Interconnection Customer.

  • Network Interconnection Architecture Each Party will plan, design, construct and maintain the facilities within their respective systems as are necessary and proper for the provision of traffic covered by this Agreement. These facilities include but are not limited to, a sufficient number of trunks to the point of interconnection with the tandem company, and sufficient interoffice and interexchange facilities and trunks between its own central offices to adequately handle traffic between all central offices within the service areas at a P.01 grade of service or better. The provisioning and engineering of such services and facilities will comply with generally accepted industry methods and practices, and will observe the rules and regulations of the lawfully established tariffs applicable to the services provided.

  • Installation Where installation is required, Contractor shall be responsible for placing and installing the equipment or parts in the required locations at no additional charge, unless otherwise specified in the Price Sheets. All materials used in the installation shall be of good quality and shall be free of defects that would diminish the appearance of the equipment or render it structurally or operationally unsound. Installation includes the furnishing of any equipment, rigging, and materials required to install or replace the equipment or parts in the proper location. Contractor shall protect the site from damage and shall repair damages or injury caused during installation by Contractor or its employees or agents. If any alteration, dismantling, excavation, etc., is required to achieve installation, the Contractor shall promptly restore the structure or site to its original condition. Contractor shall perform installation work so as to cause the least inconvenience and interference with Customers and with proper consideration of others on site. Upon completion of the installation, the location and surrounding area of work shall be left clean and in a neat and unobstructed condition, with everything in satisfactory repair and order.

  • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.
