Leave Accrual – Returning Teachers. (1) Teachers who work the months of August through May, ten (10) months, will earn general leave credit not to exceed the total of thirteen (13) days in any given contract year; six (6) of the thirteen (13) annual leave days will be accrued on the first full pay day as shown in the table below.

Leave Accrual – Returning Teachers. Teachers who work the months of August through May, ten (10) months, will earn general leave credit not to exceed the total of thirteen (13) days in any given contract year; six (6) of the thirteen (13) annual leave days will be accrued on the first full pay day as shown in the table below. Teachers starting after the first payday will accrue a prorated upfront credit as outlined in column 2 of the table below. Accrued general leave will be granted to all teachers at a rate of .5 days credit per payday during the seventh (7th) through the twentieth (20th) paydays based on the school calendar as outlined in column 3 of the table in this section. Note: Leave is accrued for each pay period provided the teacher is in a paid status for 50% of the pay period. Therefore, in order to accrue the full annual amount of thirteen (13) general leave days, the teacher must be in a paid status for at least 50% of each pay period during the contract year.   • Leave Accrual After the first 30 days of active military service in any one calendar year, employees shall not accrue City-paid vacation, holiday, or sick leave benefits or other forms of paid leave; provided, however, that any public employee on military leave for intermittent training periods shall continue to accrue the same vacation, sick, and holiday leave up to a maximum period of 180 cumulative days per calendar year as if the employee had not been on military leave.

  • Leave Accruals Accumulated annual leave, personal leave, and sick leave balances will automatically be frozen for the duration of the leave of absence. The employee will not accrue leave credits during the leave of absence.

  • Annual Leave Accrual If an employee leaves State Classified employment and is later rehired, he/she shall accrue annual leave at the same rate as a new hire. However, once a rehired employee has been in pay status for five (5) years, all previous service time shall be credited for annual leave accrual. The only exception shall be for employees rehired who repay severance pay received.

  • Sick Leave Accrual Full-time employees will accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave in a calendar month. Part- time employees will accrue sick leave credit on the same proportional basis that their employment schedule bears to a full-time schedule, up to a maximum of eight (8) hours in a calendar month.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation a. All unused days of sick leave at full pay for all employees, shall accumulate to a maximum of two hundred ten (210) days. Such sick leave benefits so accrued will be usable after the annual full days allowed, and prior to any half pay benefits.

  • Benefit Accrual Seniority, for the purpose of vacation, pension and sick leave accrual shall be based upon an employee’s continuous length of service with WSF. Seniority, for the purpose of all other benefit accrual, shall be by bargaining unit-wide seniority based upon an employee’s continuous length of service or adjusted length of service within the bargaining unit.

  • Excessive leave accruals request by employee for leave

  • RETIREMENT PICK-UP 257. For the term of this Agreement, the CITY shall pick up the full amount of the employees’ contribution to retirement.
