Leave Accrual. After the first 30 days of active military service in any one calendar year, employees shall not accrue City-paid vacation, holiday, or sick leave benefits or other forms of paid leave; provided, however, that any public employee on military leave for intermittent training periods shall continue to accrue the same vacation, sick, and holiday leave up to a maximum period of 180 cumulative days per calendar year as if the employee had not been on military leave.
Leave Accrual. Employees in the bargaining units shall accrue sick leave credit according to the employee’s status as follows: All employees shall accrue sick leave at the rate of 2.77 hours for each eighty (80) hours in active pay status, excluding overtime hours, to a maximum of seventy-two (72) hours per year. Part-time employees shall receive 2.77 hours of sick leave for each eighty (80) hours of completed service. Employees that are on approved leave of absence or receiving Workers’ Compensation benefits shall be credited with those sick leave hours which they normally would have accrued upon their approved return to work.
Leave Accrual. Employees granted a leave of absence without pay in excess of 15 calendar days shall not accrue any annual vacation or sick leave benefits during the period of such leave.
Leave Accrual. A. Vacation leave credit shall accrue on the 1st day of the month following the month when vacation leave credit is earned.
Leave Accrual a) If, due to an industrial injury or illness, an employee is in a pay status (either City pay or WC pay) for the majority of the month, leave accruals (sick leave, vacation, and holidays) shall continue for the first six months of the disability.
Leave Accrual. Extended personal leave without pay does not count toward accumulation of service time for FRS, service awards, or sick and vacation leave accruals. It does count, however, toward time accrual for service awards.
Leave Accrual. 15.1 An employee shall accrue an entitlement to one day’s leave for each day on which he performs duty during his employment. In accordance with custom and practice a shift worker shall accrue one day’s leave for a day on which he is rostered off duty for the purpose of changing shifts.
Leave Accrual. Vacation and sick days do not accrue, but the time served on active duty does count toward determining an employee's earning rate upon return from active duty. Military leave does count toward time accrual for service awards. Full-time faculty members who enter active military service with approval to be reinstated at the College will be considered to be on Military Leave and the salary of an employee returning from Military Leave will not reflect an absence from the College. If, due to medical or disability status, military-related use of FMLA is required, refer to the appropriate procedures.
Leave Accrual. Each full-time member shall accumulate paid leave for use in case of illness, disability, medical or legal appointment, family obligation, or emergency event at a rate of 1.4 days per school calendar month, to a maximum of fourteen (14) days per year. This benefit shall accrue on the first day of every calendar month commencing on September 1 and continuing through June 30 of each year. Members working less than full-time shall have their leave accrual prorated.
Leave Accrual. Vacation, holiday and sick leave accrual will be reported to on the employee’s monthly pay check.
