LEAVE FOR FULL-TIME FACULTY. 10.1 Definition of Types of Leave Leave means a period in which a Faculty Member is released from some or all of their duties. Leave may be with or without pay. Leave may be legislatively required, granted to members of Faculty by the Principal, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. Leave may include the following general types: sabbatical leave, leave of absence, study leave, pregnancy and parental/adoption leave, sick leave, deferred salary leave, and exchange leave. In addition, Faculty have the right to take unpaid Emergency Leave and Family Medical Leave as specified in the Employment Standards Act.

  • Full-Time Faculty a) Prior to the evaluation of a full-time faculty member, the first-level manager or designee shall meet with the evaluatee to discuss the criteria, procedures, and timelines (including classroom visits and non-classroom observations) for the evaluation.

  • Full-Time Nurse A nurse who is hired on a permanent basis and who normally works seven (7) hours per day on a thirty-five (35) hour week, normally Monday to Friday unless specifically hired to work an alternate schedule.

  • Regular Full-Time Employees A regular full-time employee is one who works full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular full-time employees accumulate seniority and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement.

  • Regular Full-Time Employee A regular full-time employee is defined as one in respect of whom there is a regular schedule of work providing 70 hours of work biweekly.

  • Full-Time Employees A full-time employee is one engaged as such and whose ordinary hours of work average 38 hours per week. The employee’s ordinary hours of work will not exceed an average of 38 hours per week over a 4 week period. Although the actual hours of work may vary from week to week, with some weeks greater than 38 hours and other weeks less, the employee will not work in excess of 152 ordinary hours in any four week period.

  • APPLIES TO FULL-TIME ONLY The scheduling of all off duty days including annual vacation as provided in this Agreement shall be conditional upon the availability of qualified staff to provide efficient and proper care of patients at all times, as required by the Employer.

  • Full-Time Employee A full-time employee shall be an employee who is normally scheduled to work not less than forty (40) hours per week, consisting of five (5) eight (8) hour working days.

  • Permanent Full-Time Employees Pay and benefits will be computed on a monthly pay status basis.

  • Full-Time Union Leave Upon application by the Union, in writing, the Company will grant leave of absence, without pay, to an employee elected or appointed to full-time Union position. It is understood that not more than one (1) employee in the bargaining unit may be on such leave at the same time. Seniority and service shall accumulate during the full term of such leave.
