Leave for Illness of Dependent. The University agrees to grant time off with pay when an employee is unable to report to work due to the illness of a dependent family member. Requests for such leave must be made through the employee's immediate managerial supervisor. It is understood that employees shall make reasonable efforts to have care arranged for such person before requesting such leave. Such paid leave shall be treated in accordance with Article 35.

Leave for Illness of Dependent. The University agrees to grant up to three (3) days per annum off with pay when an employee is required to remain at home due to the serious illness or incapacity of a dependent person living in the employee's home. Requests for such leave must be made through the employee's immediate managerial supervisor. It is understood that employees shall make reasonable efforts to have care arranged for such person before requesting such leave. Payment made pursuant to this Article shall be deducted from the employee's accumulated sick leave credits.

  • Dental specific medications for dental purposes, including fluoride medications (except for children less than five years of age with a non-fluorinated water supply);

  • Family Illness The start of a family leave for a serious health condition of a family member shall begin on the date requested by the employee or designated by Management.

  • Illness or Disability If, because of Employee’s illness or other disability for a continuous period of more than 45 days, Employee is unable to render the services required by the Company as provided herein, the Company may terminate Employee’s employment hereunder by written notice to Employee at least 30 days in advance of such termination. Upon such termination Employee shall not be entitled to any further payments of any nature, except for payment of (a) any earned but unpaid Annual Base Salary, (b) any unpaid bonuses and (c) unreimbursed business expenses (collectively, “Payable Amounts”). All Payable Amounts shall become due and payable on the date of such termination.
