Leave for Voting. An employee desiring to vote in a federal, state, or municipal election may do so, provided that the employee is eligible to vote in the particular election for which the employee requests the time off and that the employee can reasonably be spared from the employee’s duties. The Employer may schedule voting time throughout the day; provided, however, that employees scheduled to vote just prior to the end of their scheduled workday will be given one (1) full hour. Absence from work for voting time shall be charged against annual leave.
