Legislative and Media Reporting. AmeriCorps Members will support the service site in visits by elected officials, or media publications regarding the AmeriCorps project, or the Member’s contribution to the sponsoring organization’s impact. Any activities around these are captured in the quarterly reporting at the service site in the America Learns system. Nepotism: Related persons may work/serve at the same agency or service site; however, CCA prohibits nepotism and considers it a conflict of interest for our project sites. Sponsoring Organizations and Service Sites should refrain from giving preferential treatment, or the appearance of preferential treatment. The member may not be selected by or supervised by a relative. Relatives are defined as parents, siblings, spouse, domestic partner, and children. This anti-nepotism policy is subject to all anti- discrimination requirements applicable to an individual or an organization. Reasonable Accommodation: A CCA Member who needs a reasonable accommodation to perform the essential functions of his/her AmeriCorps position must contact their Project Supervisor to submit a request for accommodation. All approved accommodation requests and the nature of that accommodation must be submitted to the CCA Community Engagement Coordinator for the program. All medical records will be kept in a secured location, separate from the member(s) main record. Service Gear: Members are required to wear appropriate service gear during all service activities. Service gear, which is a symbol of a Member’s commitment to serve, may include CCA or AmeriCorps lapel pins, shirts, jackets, vests, sweatshirts, hats, and badges. As community role models, CCA Members are responsible for maintaining a positive public image and shall follow the service gear and appearance standard guidelines. CCA Members represent their sponsoring organization, Connected Communities, and AmeriCorps whenever they are serving, and thus, should conduct themselves in an appropriate and recognizable way. Supplies and Equipment: CCA does not supply Members with special equipment to serve on a project. If any particular supplies are necessary for the successful implementation of a project, they are to be provided by the sponsoring organization or service site. The CCA will not replace or compensate for personal or other property lost, stolen, or damaged while in the possession of any AmeriCorps Member.

  • Legislative Changes If the premium paid by the Employer for any employee benefit stipulated in this agreement is reduced as a result of any legislative or other action by the government of British Columbia, the amount of the saving shall be used to increase other benefits available to the employees, as may be mutually agreed to between the parties.

  • Small and medium-sized enterprises 1. The Parties will promote a favourable environment for the development of the small and medium enterprises (SME) on the basis of strengthening of the relevant private and governmental bodies, as well as the exchange of experiences and good practices with the SME. 2. Cooperation shall include, among other subjects: (a) the designing and development of mechanisms to encourage partnership and productive chain linkage development; (b) development of human resources and management skills to increase the knowledge of the Chinese and Peruvian markets; (c) defining and developing methods and strategies for clusters development; (d) increasing access to information regarding mandatory procedures and any other relevant information for an SME exporter; (e) defining technological transference: programs oriented to transfer technological innovation to SME and to improve their productivity; (f) increasing access to information on technological promotion programs for SME and financial support and encouragement programs for SME; (g) supporting new exporting SME (sponsorship, credits and guarantees, seed capital); and (h) encouraging partnership and information exchange for SME financing institutions (credits, banks, guarantee organizations, seed capital firms). 3. Cooperation shall be developed, among other activities, through: (a) information exchange; (b) conferences, seminars, experts dialogue and training programs with experts; and (c) promoting contacts between economic operators, encouraging opportunities for industrial and technical prospecting.

  • Actions Before Governmental Authorities There are no actions, suits or proceedings at law or in equity or by or before any governmental authority now pending or, to the knowledge of Borrower, threatened against or affecting Borrower or its property, that is reasonably expected to result in a Material Adverse Effect.

  • CHILD ABUSE REPORTING CONTRACTOR hereby agrees to annually train all staff members, including volunteers, so that they are familiar with and agree to adhere to its own child and dependent adult abuse reporting obligations and procedures as specified in California Penal Code section 11164 et seq. and Education Code 44691. To protect the privacy rights of all parties involved (i.e., reporter, child and alleged abuser), reports will remain confidential as required by law and professional ethical mandates. A written statement acknowledging the legal requirements of such reporting and verification of staff adherence to such reporting shall be submitted to the LEA.

  • REGULATORY ADMINISTRATION SERVICES BNY Mellon shall provide the following regulatory administration services for each Fund and Series:  Assist the Fund in responding to SEC examination requests by providing requested documents in the possession of BNY Mellon that are on the SEC examination request list and by making employees responsible for providing services available to regulatory authorities having jurisdiction over the performance of such services as may be required or reasonably requested by such regulatory authorities;  Assist with and/or coordinate such other filings, notices and regulatory matters and other due diligence requests or requests for proposal on such terms and conditions as BNY Mellon and the applicable Fund on behalf of itself and its Series may mutually agree upon in writing from time to time; and

  • Information Services Traffic 5.1 For purposes of this Section 5, Voice Information Services and Voice Information Services Traffic refer to switched voice traffic, delivered to information service providers who offer recorded voice announcement information or open vocal discussion programs to the general public. Voice Information Services Traffic does not include any form of Internet Traffic. Voice Information Services Traffic also does not include 555 traffic or similar traffic with AIN service interfaces, which traffic shall be subject to separate arrangements between the Parties. Voice Information services Traffic is not subject to Reciprocal Compensation charges under Section 7 of the Interconnection Attachment. 5.2 If a D&E Customer is served by resold Verizon Telecommunications Service or a Verizon Local Switching UNE, subject to any call blocking feature used by D&E, to the extent reasonably feasible, Verizon will route Voice Information Services Traffic originating from such Service or UNE to the Voice Information Service platform. For such Voice Information Services Traffic, unless D&E has entered into an arrangement with Verizon to xxxx and collect Voice Information Services provider charges from D&E’s Customers, D&E shall pay to Verizon without discount the Voice Information Services provider charges. D&E shall pay Verizon such charges in full regardless of whether or not it collects such charges from its own Customers. 5.3 D&E shall have the option to route Voice Information Services Traffic that originates on its own network to the appropriate Voice Information Services platform(s) connected to Verizon’s network. In the event D&E exercises such option, D&E will establish, at its own expense, a dedicated trunk group to the Verizon Voice Information Service serving switch. This trunk group will be utilized to allow D&E to route Voice Information Services Traffic originated on its network to Verizon. For such Voice Information Services Traffic, unless D&E has entered into an arrangement with Verizon to xxxx and collect Voice Information Services provider charges from D&E’s Customers, D&E shall pay to Verizon without discount the Voice Information Services provider charges. 5.4 D&E shall pay Verizon such charges in full regardless of whether or not it collects charges for such calls from its own Customers. 5.5 For variable rated Voice Information Services Traffic (e.g., NXX 550, 540, 976, 970, 940, as applicable) from D&E Customers served by resold Verizon Telecommunications Services or a Verizon Local Switching Network Element, D&E shall either (a) pay to Verizon without discount the Voice Information Services provider charges, or (b) enter into an arrangement with Verizon to xxxx and collect Voice Information Services provider charges from D&E’s Customers. 5.6 Either Party may request the other Party provide the requesting Party with non discriminatory access to the other party’s information services platform, where such platform exists. If either Party makes such a request, the Parties shall enter into a mutually acceptable written agreement for such access. 5.7 In the event D&E exercises such option, D&E will establish, at its own expense, a dedicated trunk group to the Verizon Information Service serving switch. This trunk group will be utilized to allow D&E to route information services traffic originated on its network to Verizon.

  • Accounting and Financial Reporting 7.1 The Trustee shall maintain separate records and ledger accounts in respect of the Contributions deposited in the Trust Fund account and disbursements to Partner Entities made therefrom. 7.2 The Trustee shall furnish to the Donors current financial information relating to receipts, disbursements and fund balance in United States dollars of the Trust Fund with respect to the Contributions via the World Bank’s Trust Funds Donor Center secure website. Within six (6) months after all commitments and liabilities under the Trust Fund have been satisfied and the Trust Fund has been closed, the final financial information relating to receipts, disbursements and fund balance in United States dollars of the Trust Fund with respect to the Contributions will be made available to the Donors via the World Bank’s Trust Funds Donor Center secure website. 7.3 The Trustee shall provide to the Donors, within six (6) months following the end of each Trustee fiscal year, an annual single audit report, comprising: (a) a management assertion together with an attestation from the Trustee’s external auditors concerning the adequacy of internal control over cash-based financial reporting for all cash-based trust funds as a whole; and (b) a combined financial statement for all cash-based trust funds together with the Trustee’s external auditor’s opinion thereon. The cost of the single audit shall be borne by the Trustee. 7.4 If a Donor wishes to request, on an exceptional basis, a financial statement audit by the Trustee’s external auditors of the Trust Fund, the Donor and the Trustee shall first consult as to whether such an external audit is necessary. The Trustee and the Donor shall agree on the appropriate scope and terms of reference of such audit. Following agreement on the scope and terms of reference, the Trustee shall arrange for such external audit. The costs of any such audit, including the internal costs of the Trustee with respect to such audit, shall be paid by the requesting Donor. 7.5 The Trustee shall furnish the Steering Committee and each Donor with: (a) copies of all unaudited or audited financial reports; and (b) any other relevant financial information received from the Partner Entities.
