Legislatively Mandated Increases. (a) In accordance with state law, effective October 1, 2013, the University shall provide a $1,400 increase in base salary to all eligible employees whose September 30, 2013 base salary was $40,000 or less. Effective October 1, 2013, the University shall provide a $1,000 increase in base salary to all eligible employees whose September 30, 2013 base salary was more than $40,000. However, in no instance shall an employee’s base rate of pay be increased to an annual amount less than $41,400.
