Work Year for Library Aides/ Library Assistants: The work year for Library Aides and Library Assistants in the Edison School System shall be one hundred eighty (180) days. Library Aides and Library Assistants may work beyond one hundred eighty (180) days within the school year provided the extension is approved by the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee. Any employee required to work beyond one hundred eighty (180) days shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times the daily rate.
