SCHOOL CLOSING DAYS Sample Clauses

The SCHOOL CLOSING DAYS clause defines the days when a school will not be in session, such as holidays, breaks, or emergency closures. It typically lists specific dates or types of days (like national holidays or inclement weather days) during which classes and school operations are suspended. This clause ensures that all parties—students, parents, and staff—are aware of scheduled closures, helping to avoid confusion and allowing for proper planning around the academic calendar.

However, they will be required to make up the day during the school year. If a particular school is closed due to an emergency, while other schools in the District remain open and other employees work, the employees from the closed building will report to an alternate work site designated by the Superintendent.
