Salary Guide. A listing of position classifications and the assigned salary grades referred to as the Support Staff Position Salary Guide is attached hereto as Appendix A and made a part of this Agreement. Steps on the Salary Guide for each pay grade will be adjusted upward by two percent (2%) each year of this Agreement.

Salary Guide. 480 1. The parties agree that the base salaries to be effected by this Agreement are 481 accurately reflected in Appendix “B,” made a part of this Agreement, and that the 482 wages and salaries set forth therein shall be the guide which shall remain in effect 483 as provided by the terms of this Agreement. The salaries provided for under this 484 Agreement shall be prorated based on the employee’s fraction appointment 485 consistent with existing practice in the case of part-time employees.
Salary Guide. 7.3.1 New employees with less than two (2) years of comparable experience shall receive placement on Step A. 7.3.1.1 Any current, regular employee hired into a higher classification will be placed at a step that results in at least a five percent (5%) base salary increase, not to exceed Step F. In such cases, longevity pay applies regardless of step placement in the higher classification. In these circumstances, the hire date into the new salary range shall become the new salary date of employment, but the employee shall retain their anniversary date. 7.3.2 New employees with acceptable previous experience shall be given one (1) step for every two (2) years of experience, not to exceed placement on Step D. 7.3.2.1 Any current, regular employee hired into a higher classification will be placed at a step that results in at least a five percent (5%) base salary increase, not to exceed placement at Step F. In such cases, longevity pay applies regardless of step placement in the higher classification. In these circumstances, the hire date into the new salary range shall become the new salary date of employment, but the employee shall retain their anniversary date. 7.3.3 An employee whose position has been reclassified will remain at the same step and shall retain salary and anniversary dates and will advance pursuant to Article 7.2.1. 7.3.4 A current employee who is laterally transferred into a different position at the same salary range shall serve a probationary period as defined in 6.1, but shall retain salary step and anniversary and salary dates. 7.3.5 A former employee returning to their prior classification within 39 months after separation shall be placed on the step they were on when last employed by the District. 7.3.6 An employee who returns to their prior classification after a career opportunity change as defined in Article 15.2, shall be placed on the step they were on when last employed in that classification. 7.3.7 A former employee who is re-employed by the District after a 39-month period shall be placed in accordance with Articles 7.3.1 and 7.3.2.
Salary Guide. A. An instructional employee who has had teaching experience, or the equivalent, providing the teaching experience that the employee has had makes him/her/them more valuable than a beginning teacher, may be employed initially at a yearly salary above the minimum salary. These teachers may be placed on the salary schedule up to 3 years past their years of teaching experience. a. For special education positions, secondary math positions, secondary science positions, or any position agreed upon by the GLEA President and Administration, the District may award up to one step past the applicant’s current salary. The District will provide the Association with the prospective teacher’s name, teaching experience, position applied for, pay scale step requested. B. The salaries of teachers covered by this Agreement are set forth in the schedules which are attached to and incorporated in this Agreement. Such salary schedules shall remain in effect for the term of this Agreement. C. The salary schedule is based upon a normal weekly teaching load, as hereinafter defined. D. Part-time teachers and/or those teachers with less than a normal teaching load shall have their compensation pro-rated. The resulting proportional amount shall be subtracted from the normal salary amount. E. Teachers shall have the option of receiving salary in twenty (20) or twenty-four (24) pays. Teachers shall make a written election upon hire. Current teachers will keep the election they currently have. Teachers wishing to change their election can do so prior to August 15 by submitting the election form to the business office. F. If a pay period falls during a vacation period, payment of wages by direct deposit will be made on the last bank business day within the regular payroll cycle. G. Special education teachers may become involved, with administrative approval, in the scheduling of special education students into the regular education curriculum. When this work is performed during the summer months, the teacher will be compensated at the Contractual Hourly Rate (CHR)
Salary Guide. Advancement horizontally beyond the BA(BS)+18 level on the salary schedule shall be allowed provided all hours are part of a program of study for a master’s degree in an accredited institution of higher education. Advancement may also be allowed beyond the BA(BS)+18 level without a program of study if approval is obtained by the superintendent of schools prior to registering for a class. The same principle would apply to movement beyond the MA level.
Salary Guide. The salaries of bargaining unit members covered by this Agreement are set forth in the salary schedule(s) and supplemental increase schedule(s) which are attached to and incorporated into this Agreement at Section 5.2. Payment from both schedules shall be considered as salary and reported as such for retirement purposes.

Salary Guide. A.2.a. The salaries of all teachers covered by this Agreement are set forth in the salary guide which is attached hereto. The salary guide structure does not represent the years of employment in the school district or the original placement on the guide. Hereafter, all individuals shall move on a yearly basis from the point negotiated on the salary guide. The Association and the Board agree that no individual covered by the salary guide shall have the right to utilize the grievance procedure if they disagree with their salary guide placement.
Salary Guide. Bus drivers shall be paid on the basis of the Salary Schedule which is part of this Agreement.
