Limited Leave of Absence. An employee with one (1) year of continuous service is eligible to request unpaid limited leave of absence of one (1) to five (5) days duration but not to exceed five (5) days in any school year. Such leave request(s) shall be submitted to the Superintendent/Designee no later than ten (10) days prior to the beginning date of the requested leave. The Superintendent/Designee shall have the right to limit the number of employees permitted to take a limited leave of absence on any given day(s) and/or refuse to grant permission to take such leave.
