Common use of Limited Positions Clause in Contracts

Limited Positions. (a) A Limited position shall mean a position which is for a limited duration not to exceed seven (7) months or such longer period as may be mutually agreed upon between the Employer and the Union. (b) It is understood that if the cause of the Limited posting is a Pregnancy or Parental Leave, that the above Limited posting shall not exceed twelve (12)

Limited Positions. (a) A Limited position Position shall mean a position which is for a limited duration duration, not to exceed seven exceeding twelve (712) months or such longer period as may be mutually agreed upon between the Employer and the Union. (b) It is understood . A vacancy that if the cause occurs as a result of the Limited posting is a Pregnancy or Parental Leave, Leave shall fall under this provision. A Limited Position that the above Limited posting shall not exceed occurs as a result of an occupational/non-occupational illness/injury may continue beyond twelve (12)) months, if necessary, if mutually agreed to by the parties. Such posting shall indicate, at the time of posting, the possibility of the position exceeding twelve (12) months.
