Common use of Limiting of Overtime Clause in Contracts

Limiting of Overtime. In the interest of an employee's health and safety, the Employer agrees to make every effort to limit overtime. If an employee is working away from the point of assembly that the employee would normally be returning to that day and the overtime is refused, transportation to that point of assembly will be supplied by the Employer as described below and the employee will be compensated for time travelled. If only the Employer's vehicle is available and transportation to the regular point of assembly would significantly inconvenience other employees or seriously disrupt production, the Employer shall endeavour to provide alternate transportation.
