Lobbying Leave. ‌ Lobbying efforts with prior approval by the superintendent will be allowed for one (1) day per certified teacher per building if substitutes are available. No more than four (4) certified teachers district-wide and no more than one (1) certified teacher from any attendance center will be allowed to take leave to lobby on any one (1) day.

Lobbying Leave. A teacher may request to be given time off with pay for the purpose of lobbying for pending legislation provided that the school district be reimbursed for the salary of the substitute teacher(s). Such requests are to be submitted to the Superintendent at least one (1) week in advance, if at all possible. Approval may be given if the absence will not hamper the education program
Lobbying Leave. The president and/or designee(s) of the Association shall be allowed two (2) days with pay per school year for lobbying leave.

  • Legal Leave 19.12.1The University shall grant leave of absence with pay to a member of faculty who is called to serve as a juror or a witness in a court of law in a matter in which he/she is not a party or an accused.
